Well I have to say, I was afraid my turkey wouldn’t be done before I went to work. When I reached home I was surprised to realize that it was pretty good. One more thing to be thankful for.

So, today is Thanksgiving. I had my first patient this morning and will see another this evening. I have a turkey to cook that I forgot to take out of the freezer to thaw, I’ve had to wash two loads of clothes and I gave my dog a bath. I have a writing assignment due that I have to finish soon and tons of reading that I have to catch up on. But, I am thankful.

I’m thankful that I have a job. I’m thankful for my dog. I’m thankful for clothes I have to wear. I would be extra thankful if I could find someone to cook my turkey while I’m at work. Hahaha. Fat chance. Well, I guess I will be having Thanksgiving today and tomorrow. YIPEE!

今週末、ナコス湘南でカンファレンスをします。
今日は、海さんが来て、いろいろな下準備をしました。

九州の幸代さんは、土曜日に到着します。
日曜日にはサムさんも集まります。

新しいナコスプロジェクトのことを、皆で話し合うのは楽しいことです！

雪と事故テレビ報道活気づき

夕刻、皆の帰宅時間に雪が降り出し、同時に気温が急下降。
つるつるする路面に車事故が多発。
事故現場から報道するレポーターの背後で、
ハンドルをとられた車が右に左に滑っています。
なんだか出来すぎで「やらせ？」とかんぐるほどです。

寒くなってきてから、クモ膜下出血や脳出血で搬送される患者さんが急増しています。
急な温度変化などで血圧変動が大きくなるからです。

ただの頭痛だと思って痛み止めを飲んでいたら、実はクモ膜下出血だった…という方もいました。

みなさん、本当に気を付けてください。
血圧の高い方は、必ず薬を飲んで血圧コントロールをしてください。

お風呂場で発症する方も多いです。
熱すぎるお湯には注意です！
