　Though Nathan is now a strong man on his own and of great wisdom and
strength. A son that fills my heart as his Mother with much pride, I would like to share a story of love from his days of youth. When he was very young we stopped to visit with a friend who happened to be trying to find homes for a new litter of puppies. As we peered into the box of bouncing bundles of joy, there was a quiet little one who seemed the runt. The smallest shiny black smiling pup focused its attention to Nate. It was as though they looked at each and knew they belonged together. A boy and his dog.

　Nate named him Duke. He filled our lives with extreme loyalty and hours of entertainment. We also had another dog named Candy that became Dukes best friend when Nate was busy with other things such as school and outside interests. Continue reading →

On my last trip to Japan, my wife’s parents took us to an onsen. After about a two hour drive and a day of sight seeing we finally arrived at the Onsen. I could tell that my wife’s father was disappointed with the hotel. The hotel was nice but it was old. I didn’t really care because I was just happy to enjoy the bath and the atmosphere at an Onsen. After resting for about a half an hour. I decided to go to the bath. When I arrived there were 10 people in the bath including my father in law. I felt a little funny because I felt that they were staring at me. I didn’t really think a whole lot about it. I spent about 5 minutes washing the days dirt from my body. When I turned around to enter the bath there was only my father in law. I wasn’t sure if they all left because I was there or if it just time for them to leave. Continue reading →

I Love My Rubber Slippers!

Last Saturday night, my boyfriend, his sister, and I were hanging out at his house, and his friends called to invite us to go to a nightclub.  My boyfriend and I didn’t really want to go, but since his sister wanted to, we decided to go.

After that, my boyfriend and I went to my house so I could get proper clubbing clothes.  I changed into a black tank top and jeans with a fire design, and then we headed back to my boyfriend’s house.  However, when we were driving back, I noticed that I was wearing the wrong shoes.  I was still wearing rubber slippers!

It couldn’t be helped, so just I went to the nightclub dressed that way. When we arrived at the nightclub, the bouncer guy noticed my rubber slippers, and sure enough, he told me that I wasn’t allowed in with slippers. Continue reading →
