For the last 3 months I have been taking new supplement to help me lose weight. I take 2 pills before lunch and 2 pills before dinner. In 3 months i loss 10 lbs. everyone says that I am too skinny and that I do not need to lose weight. This is true, but i must stay thin to help motivate our clients, and to promote our business. For the last 3 weeks I have not eaten any sugar, which is important, because i am addicted to sweets. I wanted to stop eating sugar while I start my new workout routine, and so far it has been helping to keep my weight down.

I recently made an awesome discovery. You might think it’s goofy but I swear you wont be disappointed. Believe it or not, motorcycle gloves make out to be better gardening gloves than gardening gloves. I kid you not. With their leathery palms, they’re ideal for handling those prickly traveler thingies that poke you. You know, the ones that hurt. One point: Rodney, Zero: Prickly traveler thingies.

We have been busy preparing for home schooling. Bought some storage carts with plastic drawers to put our school supplies in. This way we can roll it into another room after school and in the mornings we roll it out to the dining room table for school. Without my organized storage last year we would have to go in one room for extra pencils, another for a calculator, spend time hunting for erasers, etc. Hope to start teaching tomorrow or Wed.

Aleria and I went to the children’s museum today.  We had lots of fun.  She got to play around in the tots room.  They had balls, puzzles, sand, and lots of other cool toys.  She ran around chasing a little boy then ran away from another different boy.  There was a large screen on the floor that had a picture of water.  When she stepped on it, the water began to move and make noise.  It was cool, and Aleria loved it.  She kept stepping on it to make the water move.  She also climbed a lot of stairs in a small castle.  Later, there was a story time event in the early afternoon, and Aleria got to shake a toy with bells attached while she listened to stories and heard music.  She danced too.  The museum had another room with blocks, stuff animals, and many books.  We played in there for a little while then we wandered around the rest of the museum before heading home.

Last night we were able to have some family time after our teenager got off work from her job at the grocery store. We went to Joplin, MO to do some shopping. We are thankful that some of the stores are built back since the terrible tornado from May of 2011. We ate at Olive Garden then went to buy Jeans for our daughter at J.C. Penney’s then on to Academy Sports (recently built back) for shoes for her to work in. It was a relaxing evening. This morning we had a good church service then after someone treating us to lunch, my husband went to nursing home to sing hymns and play his guitar for them. Our Sun. afternoon nap is coming soon.
