母と海

母となる友の眼差し広い海 はは と なる　とも の まなざし　ひろい うみ 産休中の友人と、海に出かけました。 激務に疲れた私と、妊娠8ヶ月で激しい運動ができず、退屈している友人にはとても良い息抜きになりました。 潮が引いていたので、私は海に降りて散策しました。 友人は転んではいけないので、堤防の上で座ってゆっくりしました。 心ゆくまで磯遊びをする私を、友人は優しく見守ってくれました。 そんな友人を見て、私も暖かい気持ちになりました。 「海」の漢字には「母」という文字が入っています。 生命の源である海を、「母なる海」と表現することもあります。 「海」と「母」はやはり相性が良いのでしょう。 本当に安らげる時間を過ごすことができました。
