沓冠（くつかむり）

いま読んでいるミステリーの主役は和歌で、そのなかに含まれている暗号が解ければ謎も解けるという趣向になっていますので、いきおい和歌にまつわる言葉遊びの技法が色々紹介されていています。 沓冠（くつかむり）もその一つです。これは和歌の句切れの部分を拾っていくと、和歌でうたっている主題とはまったく違った意味があらわれる技法で、頭の部分に意味を持たせれば冠（かんむり）となり、語尾の部分に意味を持たせれば沓（くつ）となります。 例えば、「伊勢物語」の在原業平の詠んだ歌 からころも きつつなれにし つましあれば はるばるきぬる たびをしぞおもふ 各行の頭を拾って行くと、かきつばた　を詠み込んでいる冠の歌となります。 このミステリーでは、色葉歌（いろは歌）が重要な役をします。 いろはにほへと ちりぬるをわか よたれそつねな らむうい（＊）のおく やまけふこえて あさきゆめみし え（＊）ひもせす　　（＊は古い字体） 色葉歌は、いろは４７文字の全てを一回ずつ使って出来ている事で知られていますが、ある研究者によれば、色葉歌は沓（くつ）の暗号文で、７字書きにし沓、つまり各行の最後の字、を拾っていくと、とかなくてしす（咎（罪）無くて死す）となり、無実の罪で死刑に処せられた男の怨念の籠った遺書だとしています。 高校の古文の授業ではこういうことにはまったく触れず、ひたすら歌を暗記するだけでしたから、へーツ、そうだったのかと、一時ミステリーの筋をはなれて感心しています。

身体の声

赤信号体の声に耳を貸す あか しんごう　からだ の こえ に　みみ を かす my body’s voice a moment to listen at a red light – Fujisaki Yukiyo – English by Chay Schiller この何ヶ月か、いつ倒れるかと恐れていましたが、やっぱりその時は訪れました。 仕事が休みだった一昨日の朝、目を覚ますと全身の痛みがありました。 ただの疲れだろうとストレッチをしたりしましたが、治りません。午後を過ぎてそういえば何も口にしていなかったと気付いてリンゴを食べてみたものの、全然食べれません。おかしいなーと思っていると、どんどん体の痛みがひどくなり、立ち上がるのもやっとになりました。 これは病院に行かなくては…と夕方に病院に行くと、ただの風邪とのことでした。とりあえず水分も食事もとれていなかったので、点滴を受けますが、だるさは増し、熱があがってきました。家に帰ると更に熱はあがり、動けなくなりました。もうこれは寝るしかない、体の免疫システムに任せようと思い、無理矢理寝ました。 すると夜中に一度目が覚めた時、少しすっきりした感じがしました。熱も下がっています！これは勝った！と思い朝を迎えましたが、同僚の勧めもあり、仕事を休むことになりました。 今日は本当になにもなかったかのように出勤し、働くことができました。 きっと体が休むようサインを出してくれたのでしょう。大きな病気ではなく、一日で治ってよかったです！！ それにしても点滴は長くて苦痛でした。 患者さんがストレスを感じるのがなせだかよくわかりました。
