カーディナルが人と犬の出入りの頻繁な戸口の前の木に巣をかまえました。この戸が、又、熱と湿気のせいかギーギーうるさいのです。なんで、よりによってこんな所にと思ったのですが、「ネオン輝く繁華街じゃないと住んでる気がしない」という人と同じで、十人十色、違いがあってこその面白さですね。（肝心のカーディナルがぼけてますが、右手の赤い板のきれっぱしにみえるのが尾で、左が顔の一部です）。

成り行き上、カイロプラクター chiropractor（背骨指圧療法）のミラー先生の元へ3日連続通院することになりました。そうなると、午前中は気持ち良く寝るのが習慣のヌービーをなんとかなだめて屋外に出さねばならないがと、悩んでいたのですが、それは全くの杞憂に終わりました。出かける15分前ごろ、いつもならスースー寝ているヌービー、さっさっと戸口の方へ行き、出たいの素振り。どうしてわかるのか　まったく不思議です。 そもそもの成り行きというのが、ヌービーとウオーキングしていて、2者の進行方向が一致しなかった挙句、2本足の私が見事、道路上に平べったくなった、という次第なのです。ヌービー、わかってる？
