I like skiing so much. So, when the skiing season is over in March, I am already anxiously awaiting the next skiing season which is nine months away. In the midst of the people who are glad at the coming of spring, there is a man who is already waiting for the next winter.

I first became acquainted with skiing when I went on the graduation trip during my days at my previous university. My first time skiing, I couldn’t ski very well, and the whole experience consisted of my butt hurting, my knees being sore, and my whole body crying out in pain. The thought crossed my mind that I would never ski again. However, the thought of just giving up annoyed me so, three days before my new job ceremony, I decided to try it just one more time. As before, I couldn’t ski well, but something about it grabbed hold of me. I felt the exhilaration of gliding with nature all around me. Since then, I have been possessed by a ski demon. I’ve really been thinking about this lately, but Japanese people are not very expressive, huh. Even before this, I wrote a little about my thoughts on the subject entitled, "Silence is Gold." If you don’t speak up, you can go on without anything really good or bad happening. Nothing will happen at all. However, going on like this is not enough. I really miss the wealth of expression and smiling faces of the people of Hawaii.

今日は久々に雪の朝を迎えた。
どうしても気持ちが舞い上がってしまうdeble。

張り切りすぎて、学校行くときバイクで滑りかけた・・・

晴れたかなと思うとその1時間後には猛吹雪状態。
その30分後にはまた晴れ。

陰と陽の押し合い引き合いの現場が今まさに三原市上空に！！

In Japan, during Setsubun, we have the custom of scattering dried soybeans in each room and, after that, eating only the amount of beans that corresponds to our age in order to have an early Spring. However, in my case, it seems as though the whole bag will just disappear. I hate this.
 
 
節分
　
　日本では、節分に早く春が来ますようにと、豆を各部屋にまいた後、自分の歳の数だけ豆を食べる習慣がありますが、私の場合、豆の袋が全部なくなってしまいそうです。いやですね～
 
 
せつぶん
　
　にほん  では、せつぶん に  はやく はる が きますように と、まめ を  かく へや に まいた あと、じぶん  の  とし の かず  だけ  まめ  を たべる  しゅうかん が ありますが、 わたし の ばあい、まめ  の ふくろ が ぜんぶ なくなって しまいそうです。  いやですね～ Continue reading →

ついにきょうで３０の王台にのったdeble.
inuZ氏がいっていたように「だから何か？」
って感じで特に感慨深いこともなく、単なる通過点である。

でも学校の連れに祝ってもらい、とてもうれしかった。みんなthank you!

「３０にして立つ」

という言葉どおりしっかり自立して生きていかねば！
あと１年後から・・・
