シューベルトのピアノ曲、即興曲３番に取り組んでいます。
この曲は体力よりも脳を使います。頭に冷房搭載。
I would rather practice the piano than the violin on very hot day. I’m practicing Schubert-impromptu number 3. This song uses my brain rather than physical strength, so I can stay cool.

鎌倉駅へ中島美貴代さんが迎えにきてくれました。
逗子方面にドライブ、海岸沿いのレストランでランチ。
楽しいおしゃべりをして素敵な時間を過ごしました。
昼食後、中島さんは茶道指導の為お茶室に戻りました。
Nakajima-san picked me up at Kamakura station, and she drove to Zushi. We had an enjoyable time at Italian restaurant.

紋白蝶手入れ不足の庭に群れ
もんしろちょう ていれぶそく の にわ に むれ
To our delight, more cabbage butterflies have started coming to our garden. Our garden was full of weeds. I used the butterfly-increase as the excuse for not weeding the garden. The monarch butterfly has recently been designated as one of the endangered spices. Today, a pair of yellow swallowtails came to our yard.
BTW, this week, we asked professional gardeners to clean our yard.
嬉しい事に、庭に来る紋白蝶の数が例年よりも多く、これはひょっとすると庭の手入れを怠って雑草が生えるに任せているからかな等と、庭の手入れ不足の口実にしていました。モナーク蝶々がendangered spicesに指定されましたが、今日、２羽の揚羽蝶がやって来て喜んでいるところです。
（今週、専門の庭師さんに花壇を整備してもらったことを付け加えておきます）。

楽譜の整理をしています。引き続き私が練習したい曲、弾きたい曲。今は要らないけれどしばらく保存する楽譜。わかりやすく棚に入れます。
I’m organizing many sheet music. I continue to play music. But I don’t need some of them now. I will put them on the shelf for easy to see.

腰越漁港へ行ってきました。
江ノ電で江ノ島駅の次が腰越。徒歩３分です。
さばの缶詰を買いました。
I went to Koshigoe fishing port. It takes just 3 minutes by foot from Koshigoe station on the Enoden Line.

蜂が飛ぶ嵐の雲や養蜂家
はち が とぶ あらし の くも や ようほうか
My wife has a new hobby! A few of her friends are bee keepers and one of their jobs are when there is a beehive in a home or other public place they get called to take it away. Recently, in one of the churches here they were called to move a big beehive away. There were bees flying everywhere and they were going after my wife and her two friends. I was afraid of getting stung so I stayed in the car but was told that since I had a white shirt on and that I have very blonde hair and beard that they would leave me alone since they are not threatened by light colors. That is why the bee keepers uniform is always white. I got out of the car and the bees never bothered me! One of my wife’s friends said that I am a friend of the bees!
妻には新しい趣味があります。友人の二人は養蜂家の仕事をしています。誰かの家や公の場に蜂の巣があれば、連絡を受けて、蜂の巣を取り除くことが彼らの仕事のひとつです。最近、近所の教会の大きな蜂の巣を除去して欲しいと頼まれました。教会の庭には蜂がいっぱい飛び回っていて、妻と友人二人を追いかけていました。私は蜂に刺されるのが怖くて車の中にいました。しかし妻の友達が、私の髪の毛と髭は金髪で白いシャツを着ているから心配しなくてもよいと言いました。蜂は明るい色には脅かされないから何もしないそうです。ですから養蜂家の服装は常に白です。私は車から降りてみると、蜂がいっぱいいたのに大丈夫でした。それを見た妻の友達は、私は蜂の友達だと言いました。

Scott-san came to Tokyo with his family and he came to Zengyo with Kasumi-chan. We talked about many things.

昨日、私のリハビリ写真を投稿しました。
７年前の同じ日、母方祖父の弟のことを投稿していました。
リハビリは大切。再度投稿します。（以下の文章）
大叔父の名前は上村登（かみむらみのる）といいます。
コケ博士の植物学者で、リハビリにも貢献しました。
趣味でヴァイオリンを弾いていました。
昭和４３年に私学としては日本で最初のリハビリテーション学院を創立し、その功績が認められ１９８１年に春の叙勲をいただきました。当時、高知学園短期大学の学長とリハビリテーション学院の学院長を兼任していました。
１９８１年４月２９日の読売新聞、毎日新聞、朝日新聞、高知新聞に、叙勲の際のインタビュー記事がありましたので一部をご紹介します。
（読売新聞） 日本リハビリの恩人。
昭和４０年ごろ理学療法士を養成するリハビリ学校は東京と小倉の二か所しかなく、必要性の認識さえ薄かったとき、植物の国際学会で外国へ出かけて見聞したことがきっかけになった。
