今日はのんびり過ごしました。
夜はサークルの人とご飯する約束だったので、
JR甲子園口に車で向かいました。びっくりしましたよ。
そりゃ〜もう、「車＜人」の待遇が顕著なこと。

横断歩道の前を車で通ろうとしても、
歩行者はこっちを見向きもしない。
ペースを崩さずどうどうと目の前を渡っていく。

そりゃ歩行者優先するのは私も分かっていますが…。
あまりにも丸無視でビックリしました。さすが。。。

Last week, I went on a three day retreat for working at Punahou’s freshman camp in the north shore. I have to do tow camps in total. On the first camp, the staffers and the teachers get there a day before everyone else, to set up and get ready.  I am a leader, which just means that I take a group of around 13 people or and teach them what they should and shouldn’t do in high school. Like how they should be studying hard and not doing anything stupid that could get them in trouble. There we  went through many different activites to help the freshman learn more about high school, meet new friends, and just have a good time. My freshman camp experience was especially horrible, so I wanted to take what I didn’t like and make it better so no one will have to go through what I did. The camp is really old and dirty, the walks are long, and the food is horribe. And I have to do it again!

A few days ago, I went to school to take my yearbook pictures and find out what my schedule was like. Its really hard to please all 400+ students, so not everyone has exactly what they want. for example, I have lots of breaks, but i start school early and end school late. Ill ahve to find a way to cope with this schedule if I want to survive junior year.

3年経とうとする今年もみんなで集まりたいなと思い、企画。
10人が三原に集合しました。久々やけど、空気は大学の頃と変わらず。
3年経って、みんなそれぞれに歩んできたんやね。
おめでたい報告をたくさん受けた。嬉しいね〜。ありさんも喜んでるに違いない。

2年前の偲ぶ会は強がって笑ってふざけて、言いたいことや伝えなきゃいけないことが言えずじまいだった。そんな風には終わりたくない、ただの飲み会で終わりたくないってのが根底にあったわけで…。せっかく遠いところからみんなが集まったわけだし…。みんな満足したかな？　私は満足してます。

そりゃぁ〜今年もいっぱい言いたい事があったのに、口下手なもんで後から「あれも言えばよかった！　今更、思いついちゃった！」と、やや後悔する部分もあったけど。面と向かって伝えていなかった「ありがとう」を言えたので。

周りの存在はでかいよ、やっぱ。みんながいなかったら、一人ぼっちやったら、弱い私はとうの昔に廃人になっている気がする。まだまだ自分のことで精一杯で、自己中で…、周りのことに無頓着だけど、いつか恩返しがしたいなぁ。ありさん、みんなあなたのこと忘れてないよ〜。安心してください。こんなにいっぱい信頼できる仲間がいます。







その夜は、兵庫へ帰。すごく嬉しいことに、昨日、大雨で延期になった花火が、今日打ち上がるという情報をキャッチ。今年最後であろう花火を見てきました。２年前に聞いた豆知識→「花火は亡くなった親しい方をしのぶ、という意味もある」今日、見れて嬉しかった。きれいだった。単純な私は、「今日の花火は、きっと、ありさんが見してくれたんや。」と思った。
