During the summer, I was drawn into the U.S. Open, which is a big golf tournament in which Tiger Woods was playing. Now before this, I thought golf couldn’t be considered a port. I thought was a leisurely activity. But after watching Tiger go through a couple days and win on a knee that needed surgery, I was totally wrong. It was so exciting watching him play. And from then on I have loved golf.

If I had knew what golf was when I was younger, I bet that right now I would be playing golf instead. Golf is such a fun sport to play. Because it is so relaxing when you’re out there in the open air. Baseball is a different sport, because one person does not compete, but the whole team does. In a baseball game, one person can screw everything up, so you cant win unless everyone does their share. In golf, you only have to focus on yourself, which makes things a bit less stresful. In golf, there is only one thing you have to do and that is swing the club to try get the ball in the hole. I still think baseball is the hardest sport because you have so many different thigns you must be able to do. The golf ball doesn’t move, making it that much easier to hit than a baseball. And golf is a much more relaxing experience compared to baseball. Both are mental games, which means there is a bit of thinking involved. I think this makes the game that much more fun. Plus, a lot of my friends are golfers, and they talk about golf a lot. It wouldnt hurt to try give this sport a shot!
