I met up with Yu-san and we had an enjoyable time at a cafe near Fujisawa station. I’m looking forward to taste Japanese horsechestnut honey from Yu-san’s uncle’s bee garden.
In September we celebrated the annual Toowoomba Flower Festival.. it is truly famous in this area of our state of Queensland. This is because it’s been running for many years now since when I was very young and the flower displays are very beautiful .. people come from far and wide to enjoy . My parents took my brother and I as teenagers which was the last time I went before moving here last August.
This year my eldest son Jai and his wife Kaitlyn came up and it was a really nice day. After visiting a park with flower displays shaped into animals and other things .. we went to the main Queen’s Park to enjoy the amazing garden displays and the markets .. it was very crowded for Toowoomba. We ended the day going to a lovely old railway station with gorgeous gardens thats said to be Queensland’s prettiest railway.
