先月でしたかある雑誌で、「料金払いはもっぱらオンラインで、小切手を郵送すると追加料金を払うことになります」との記事を読みました。そこへ来たのが、市からの車税の請求書です（日本でいう車検？）。それには車税＊＊ドル、郵送なら＊＊ドルを追加とあり、更にオンラインで払うならここへとアドレスが印刷してあります。それツ、おいでなすった。郵送用の追加料金とはこのことなり！と、オンラインへ行ってみると、なんと７ドル余分に払う！！　オンラインで払う方が高くつく？　これどういうこと？

くみちゃんの修士論文発表会に行ってきました。
くみちゃんは元職場の同僚。
そして、以前食中毒の私を看病してくれ、
高知に来ることの背中を押してくれ、
今の訪問看護ステーションを紹介してくれ、
私のネガティブをも肯定してくれるでかい親友でございます。

スーツを着て堂々と発表する、凛として頼もしい姿。
怒涛の２年の重みを感じさせる発表でした。内容も興味深かった。
頑張ったくみちゃんに拍手です。おめでとう。ひとまずお疲れ様。

今日はいの町に在宅医療をされている
中村伸一先生の講演に行ってきました。
先生の話は症例を中心としたお話だったので、
とても興味深く聞き入ってしまいました。

自分の訪問看護の姿勢が、今いかに固いかを痛感しました。
もともと頭が固い方なので、こういった刺激を受けるのはありがたい。
もう少し余裕が出てきたときに、少しずつ視野を広げたい。
人間対人間の関わりを私なりにしたいと思いました。

誘ってくれたみおちゃんありがとう（＾　＾）一緒に行った医大のウッチー、さおりんともお友達になりました。4人で帰りにラーメンの試食やクレープを買い食い（笑）それも妙に楽しかったり。夜は高知の街に繰り出して、おいしいご飯とお酒を。この居酒屋さんは、両親や兄弟がもし遊びに来たら連れてきたいところやな～。疲れたけど、充実した一日でテンションあがりっぱなしでした。病み上がりで体は大丈夫かしら…。

今日も一日ありがとうございました。
…。 あ！今日は雛祭りだった！！

I’ll never forget the time I forgot to get my brother Ice Cream. I was about 7 years old at the time, I had just gotten a drumstick or a pushpop from the Ice Cream man and was happily eating it. When I got home my mother asked me if I had gotten one for my brother. I was instantly overwhelmed with guilt and ran back outside with tears in my eyes, crying and yelling for the Ice Cream man to stop. He heard me and parked his van again so I could get one for my brother.

「ママハンテン」という中華料理屋さんがありまして。
よく行列ができてるし、おいしいと聞いていて気になっておりました。

んで！ 今日はついに晩御飯で行ってきました。
閉店近かったので席はたくさん空いてました。
入った感じは普通の中華料理屋さん。
チャーハンとエビマヨ、その他をオーダー。
パクリ。ん！！ なんやこれーーっ（＠□＠；） ごっつうまいやんーーーー（＠▽＠；）

「おいしいらしい」とハードルを上げていたにもかかわらず、簡単に飛び越えていきやがったよ！ 今まで食べたチャーハンの中で一番おいしい～～～！ 特にこのエビマヨはここじゃないと味わえない恐ろしいおいしさ！ ご馳走様でした。まだ食べていない他のメニューもちょっとずつ開拓してこうと約束しました。

Yesterday the otherwise hot and sultry Makaha experienced a wild winter tropical storm like nothing before. Lightening crashed and thunder roared. And the heavens poured torrents of rain saturating the thirsty landscape with a quenching soak . During the storm the wind swept through the trees, and thuds could be heard on the roof all day long as one by one the mangoes were torn from the tree in howling winds to leave a blanket of orange yellow green fruit sprawled across our front lawn. That night I slept peacefully to the soothing sound of pouring rain pounding and the next morning I awoke to a beautiful blue sky and the shining rays of sun glistening though my window.

This year’s Christmas was awesome and I got lots of cool presents! But this valentine’s day, I got something from my mom that was as good as a Christmas present, A Canon T3I. The Canon T3I is an $850 camera (when you buy the 18-55mm lens kit) and it has amazing picture quality, 18 megapixels to be exact, and that helps if I am planning to make a video. The reason I wanted this camera is because I wanted to make films and videos and upload them to YouTube, the main kinds of videos I like to make are action videos. About 2 years ago, I took a liking to Special Effects which are the fake explosions, muzzle flashes, or even simple planes that actually aren’t there went filming a film, but put into the footage by using an editing program. My favourite editing/special effects program is one by Adobe called After Effects, and I use this to make my actors in my videos look like they are shooting real guns but in real life, they are just shooting simple airsoft guns (I explained what airsoft guns were in my last blog). I have only made one or two action videos right now and a couple of effect tests that I will use for future videos, but since I now have this cool new camera, I will be making lots of new action videos and uploading them to YouTube. Well anyway, back to the camera. I specifically wanted this model of the Canon Eos Series because it is the only one that has a screen that you can put out like a camcorder, which will help me when making videos. The camera wasn’t only for me because my mom got it for my video making and our picture taking, so it’s technically not just mines. I am so glad my mom got this camera because I was so lonely with just a video editor program and no camera, and now I can make the HD videos I’ve dreamed of.
