サムさんとエリーちゃんと藤沢駅で待ち合わせて、
元気に歩きながら、いろいろな面白い話をしました。
The air is warm but it’s a little windy today. So I’m careful not to catch a cold. Sam-san and Elly-chan are in good shape as well. We had a good conversation while walking.

今日は、鎌倉に住んでいる友人と会ってきました。
誕生日が二人とも２月なので、鎌倉でお祝いをしました。
昔、美貴代さんは私達よりひと月あとにハワイに来て、
ナコスの英語クラスの最初の生徒さんになり、
それからずっと友人としておつきあいが続いています。
美貴代さんは帰国後、鎌倉で裏千家の茶道教授をしています。
鶴岡八幡宮のお茶室では、神社の巫女さんにも教えています。
食事のあと、浄明寺ハイランドのお茶室でのお稽古に戻り、
私は、浄明寺、報国寺、杉本寺を見て歩きました。
行きと帰りは江ノ電の車窓から、湘南の冬の波を眺めました。
I went to Kamakura to meet my friend today. Mikiyo-san and my birthday is in February, so we celebrated together. Mikiyo-san came to pick me up at Kamakura station and we had a good time at Japanese soba restaurant near Jomyoji temple. After lunch, she returned to teach Japanese tea ceremony. I walked looking at temples on my way to Kamakura station. It was an enjoyable day!

Everyone knows that a McDonald’s Big Mac is a burger with pickle, lettuce and tomato. However, in India, the Maharaja Mac is made to be spicy. In fact, slices of fresh jalepeno are used instead of pickles. This is a big surprise! Instead of a sweet, salty flavor, this burger has a fiery taste. But, there is another surprise. The burger also has no beef! Maybe in India they hope that if the burger is so spicy that you cannot taste it, then you cannot be disappointed to have chicken instead of beef.
マクドナルドのビッグマックは、レタスやトマト、そして、ピクルスを挟み込んだハンバーガーです。このことは、誰でも知っています。一方、インドのビッグマックは、マハラジャ マックと言います。ものすごく辛いです。実は、ピクルスの代わりに、ハラペーニョと言う唐辛子を薄く切ったものを使っています。驚きました。このハンバーガーは、甘くて塩辛い味の代わりに、ひりひりするような激辛な味です。そして、もう一つ驚くことがあります。このハンバーガーには牛肉もありません。インドでは、ハンバーガーは辛すぎるので味わえませんが、その代わりに鶏肉のハンバーガーがあるので心配無用です。

In January of 2017, I took a trip to India.
２０１７年１月、私はインドを旅行しました。
今日はキショールさんが仕事のあとで善行に来ました。
変わらず、着実に、練習を繰り返していきます。
昨日のスピーチも、精一杯頑張ったようです。
Kishore-san came to Zengyo after work today. He gave a speech at company yesterday. Kishore-san continues to make his best effort in his situation.

今日は日曜日ですが、キショールさんは会社で働きました。
そして、仕事が終わってから、善行に来ました。
明日、キショールさんは、会社で日本語でスピーチをします。
心と内容を伝えるために、文章を作ってあげて、
丁寧に何度も練習をしました。
Today is Sunday (Japan time) but Kishore-san had to work at his office, then he came to Zengyo after work. Kishore-san will give a speech at company tomorrow. So we prepared his short story in good Japanese for Kishore-san, and he practiced carefully.

今日は暖かい日です。エリーちゃんも元気に歩きました。
元気な善行富士も、善行公園と善行駅前から撮りました。
We met Sam-san and Elly-chan at Fujisawa station today. It’s a warm day, so we had a good walk and had conversation. Mt. Fuji appeared beautifully, so I took pictures of Zengyo Fuji from Zengyo park and in front of Zengyo station.

今日、藤沢は午後から雪が降っています。
キショールさんが仕事のあとで善行に来ました。
少し積もった美しい雪を、歩きながら楽しんでいました。
美しい日本語を話す努力も、楽しみながら積み重ねています。
Kishore-san came to Zengyo after work today. It started snowing in the afternoon. Kishore-san enjoyed touching beautiful fresh snow. He is piling up efforts step by step in order to speak beautiful Japanese language as well.

今日、キショールさんは仕事のあと、善行に来ました。
会社で一生懸命に働いたあとで疲れていましたが、
美しい日本語で話す練習をしていると元気になりました。
今日の善行富士も元気いっぱいで綺麗でした。
Kishore-san came to Zengyo after work. Kishore seemed out of energy because he worked hard at his office. But he got energy again from speaking in good Japanese…hahaha! Zengyo Fuji was beautiful today too!

今日は、藤沢駅でサムさんとエリーちゃんと待ち合せました。
私達は話しながら、南の方角へ歩いて行き、
消防署の側に出来た新しいスーパーマーケットに立ち寄り、
川沿いを歩き、藤沢市民会館の公園を通って、戻りました。
今日は、暖かくて風のない日でしたので、元気に歩きました！
善行公園の向こうに立つ善行富士も元気いっぱいでした！
Today, we met Sam-san and Elly-chan at Fujisawa station. We walked on a street towards to the south, and we stopped by a new super market near the fire station. Then, we walked along the river and walked through the park near Fujisawa civic hall, and then we returned to Fujisawa station. It was a warm and windless day, so we enjoyed talking and walking. Also, it was nice to see a beautiful Zengyo Fuji between pine trees at a Zengyo park.
