今日は、蔵まえギャラリーで、リハーサルをしてきました。
佐野さんを中心に、作品展と音楽の準備をしています。
日本建築の蔵まえギャラリーの雰囲気に合う音楽を選んで、
リコーダーの賀来さん助さんとヴァイオリンを合わせました。
障害のある人もない人も、年齢も誰でも、作品応募できます。
ミュージックデーは５月３日です。
We are preparing for an art exhibition and music concert at Kuramae-gallery (蔵まえギャラリー）. So I chose some music for Kaku-san & Suke-san, and we practiced today. We will perform at the Music Day of this exhibition in May.

Today, Kishore-san spoke his short story in Japanese via skype from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is enjoying NACOS method in the middle of a trip.

今、クアラルンプール空港から、写真が届きました。
キショールさんは、成田空港からマレーシアに到着して、
乗り継ぎ時間に、日本語の小話や漢字を練習しています。
約８時間後に、バングラデシュ行きの飛行機に乗ります。
ダッカのシャージャラル国際空港まで、約３時間半です。
Kishore-san departed from Narita airport and arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Then, he will head to Dhaka, Bangladesh, today. He has long transit time at the airport. Now, he is practicing Japanese by reading his short stories, and studying kanji as well. It’s good time for studying, Kishore-san!

私達は、藤沢駅で会ってから、大船駅で見送りました。
ダッカに着いたら、早速、スカイプでお話しをしましょう。

Today, Kishore-san went to Bangladesh. We met at Fujisawa station and then saw him off at Ofuna station. We will talk via Skype as soon as Kishore-san arrives in Dhaka, Bangladesh, so I will check his Japanese in the middle of a trip.

In the last two years there has been a lot of construction in the Waikiki and Kakaako area. I can only watch as buildings that I have become used to over the many years are knocked down and new ones are put up. Since there has been so much activity sometimes the sky seems to be full of the construction cranes that they appear to be very large birds with no wings. Plus, they are called “cranes” which is the name of a bird with a very long neck. There is a joke in Hawaii that the State bird is the crane since there are so many of them. Even though the buildings that are being built are very beautiful there is a sadness that the area that I have lived in so long is quickly changing and will soon be only a memory to me.
２０１５年頃から、オアフ島のワイキキ地区とカカアコ地区では、大変な建設ラッシュです。何年もの間、見慣れてきた建物は、次々に取り壊され、新しいビルの建設が始まります。私は、ただ見守るばかりです。あちこちで工事が行われていますから、兎に角、クレーンが目につきます。それは、まるで、羽のない大きな鳥のようです。実は、クレーンと言う言葉には、首の長い鳥、即ち、鶴の意味があります。ところで、ハワイに面白い冗談があります。ハワイの州の鳥は、クレーン（鶴）だと言うものです。ハワイには、工事用のクレーンが沢山あるからです。新しく建設されるビルは大変美しいです。しかし、私が、長年、住み慣れたところが、急速に変化していくのは寂しいことです。私には、もうすぐ思い出だけが残ることでしょう。

そして、自転車に乗って、建設風景を撮ってきました。
今日は、春分の日です。祝日です。
キショールさんは、家で休養してから、善行に来ました。
そして、今日も小話のプレゼンテーションをしました。
私は、激励して、小さなカエルのお守りをあげました。
無事を祈るお守りです。財布の中に入れてください。
Today is a Japanese national holiday, so Kishore-san relaxed at home and came to Zengyo. He gave a presentation today too. I continue to encourage him and I gave him a tiny lucky charm which is called “Buji Kaeru” in Japanese. It means coming back safely. Please put it in your wallet:)

Kishore-san came to Zengyo. He gave a presentation today, too. Kishore-san memorised and spoke three short stories in Japanese. He drew pictures in his head while he speaks stories, which was good.

今日は、サムさんとエリーちゃんと藤沢駅で会って、
春の空気を感じて、話しながら、元気に歩きました。
公園で、サムさんはエリーちゃんに、芸を教えました。
We met Sam-san at Fujisawa station as usual, and we walked together. The air was warm today, so we had a good walk, and all of us talked and laughed a lot. Besides that, Sam-san even taught a new performance to Elly-chan at a park. Elly-chan did well:)

Kishore-san came to Zengyo, and he gave a presentation in front of us. He spoke one of short stories. He concentrated to speak carefully in Japanese, and I encouraged him to make continuous efforts.
