今日は、向山さんの家に、チーム・ナコスが集まって、
演奏会のためのリハーサルと、打ち合わせをしました。
蔵まえギャラリーで、５月３日に演奏します。
片瀬山の桜は可憐で見事でした。
We rehearsed at Mukoyama-san’s house, today. Team NACOS will play music at Kuramae art gallery in May 3rd. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom!

今日は、キショールさんが善行に来ました。
ナコスメソッドで、更に日本語が上達していくために、
確認といろいろな打ち合わせをしました。
Today, Kishore-san came to Zengyo. And we confirmed about his progress in Japanese. Kishore-san is working to refine his Japanese with NACOS method.

今日は、賀来さんと早田さんが善行に来て、
チーム・ナコスの演奏会のリハーサルをしました。
練習後は、善行の「さんわーく かぐや」へ行って、
藤田さんや原さん達と、楽しくお話をしました。
Today, Kaku-san and Hayata-san came to Zengyo, and Team NACOS rehearsed music. After that, we went to Fujita-san’s place and had a good time as well.

待ちわびて古びた土地は様変わり

Next to the Ala Moana shopping center there is the Ward shopping center and the Ward theater complex. The ward theaters was the first building of the current renovation going on in the area and it is a very well designed and aesthetically pleasing complex. Behind the theater complex for the longest time was just a few stores and vacant lots but in just a few years a very big parking complex and a very large building which will be entirely dedicated to Whole foods, a high end super market chain that has become very popular. The parking ramp has just opened up but the store is still a few months away from completion. Sometimes progress can be good or bad but in this case I really think that the architects have taken extra care to make the new development a nice area to just walk around in. There are very nice small parks by the building and lots of places to sit and relax. I am sure that some people would think that the buildings are an eye sore but if they saw what it looked like before then they would change their mind

アラモアナのショッピングセンターの隣には、ワード・ショッピング・センターとワード・シアターからなるショッピング・センターがあります。ワード・シアターは、現在、この地域で行なわれている改装工事の中で、最初に出来たシネコン（複合映画館）です。非常にうまく設計されていて、見た目にも心地よい建物です。シネコンの裏は、長い間、わずかな店があるだけで、後は空き地でした。しかし、ここ数年、非常に大きな駐車場とホールフーズと言うスーパーマーケットの為の大きな建物が出来ました。この高級スーパー・チェーンは、大変、評判になりました。駐車場は出来ましたが、スーパーマーケットの建物は、後２，３ヶ月間がかかりそうです。時に、進歩は良いこともあれば、悪いこともあります。しかし、今回の場合、建築家は、新しい開発を成功させる為に、様々な角度から考え、細心の注意を払っていると思います。建物の近くには、とても素敵な小さな公園があり、ゆったり座れる場所がたくさんあります。何人かの人は、建物が目障りだと言います。しかし、以前の状態を見たら気持ちは変わると思います。

Today is the Spring Equinox Day, and it’s a Japanese national holiday. Spring has come! However, it snowed today. Oh, my goodness!

皆さんと楽しくお話をしてきました。
また、八重洲ブックセンターで、
池田純子さんの本を見つけて嬉しかったです。
It was the last day of the Aiko-san’s art exhibition in Ginza. We had a good conversation at Gallery Nayuta. Also, I was glad to find Ikeda-san’s books at a bookstore.

藍子さんの銀座展の前に鶯谷へ。。。
殺風景でいかがわしい路地裏をおっかなびっくり、
行きつ戻りつ、凛とした佇まいの子規庵に辿り着く。
We went to Shikian before going to Aiko-san’s art exhibion in Ginza. Masaoka Shiki (1867 – 1902)was a poet and critic of the Meiji period in Japan. Shikian is the former residence of Masaoka Shiki.

なかやま整骨院で、１５回目の治療です。
マッサージと、電気と、スーパーライザーで、
懲りを気持ちよくほぐしていただきました。
I received another treatment and massage from Nakayama-san today. This is my 15th time visiting to their clinic. They treated to loosen the muscles by using hands and machines. I felt very comfortable.

音楽のために、鵠沼橘市民の家に行ってきました。
賀来さんのバッハも上達しています。
チームナコスのメンバー、みんな頑張っています。
I went to Kugenuma-tachibana community house for music. Kaku-san practiced several songs very hard. His Bach is improving as well.

藤沢駅で、サムさんと待ち合わせました。
南口の商店街から、図書館の前を通り、
川沿いに歩いて、色々なことを話しました。
We met Sam-san at Fujisawa station. We had a good conversation while walking.
