収穫などと言っても片手に入るほどの少量ですが、もぎたてのほうれん草の美味しいことには驚きました。 ほうれん草を育てたのは今回が初めてです。 種を買ったものの半信半疑で植えてみましたら、すくすくと成長し、もうこのへんで、と収穫。 まず、根が赤いのがよろしい（こちらのお店で売っているほうれん草は根が白い）。 そのせいかお味も日本のほうれん草のようです。 私的な意見ですが、日本のほうれん草は暖かい味がするのに対し、こちらのほうれん草は冷たい味がします。 これで味をしめて（！）今日、もう１０粒植えてみました。天候が許す限り、一週間おきにでも続けて植えてみるつもりです。 種が大きめ（２ミリ程度）なのもよろしい。こまかい種の野菜は間引きしなければならないのがやっかいです。 それにしても、「ほうれん草は育てやすい、ぜひ、家庭菜園で」と言われていないのはなぜでしょう。 Harvesting may be a little exaggerated, since the quantity was so small.
