Christmas Past

Over the years Christmas has become just another day to me. But I figured I could at least share one from my past. 🙂 1988, My family was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and an Ice Storm had shut down the power to the whole base for about a week and a half. It was very cold since we had no heat and had to use 3 or 4 blankets when we slept. Luckily, we had a gas stove for food and Santa brought us board games. So it was good bonding time for our family. 🙂 That was Christmas of 88.

What I want for Christmas

Hi, my name is Garrett. Today I’ll be talking about what I want for Christmas. The three main things I want are:

1. The XBox360 game “Skyrim”, because it is said to be the biggest RPG (role playing game) of all time.

2. I also want an “Eyeball” webcam, because it has a built-in microphone and an HD camera.

3. I also want an external hard drive to save my movies that I make on Adobe Aftereffects. I could save my gameplay videos on there and that would be a big help.

Please, Santa, if you can read this… I’ve been a very good boy this year! 🙂 Lol.

Lost in translation

The red-nosed reindeer

Really has a name:

It’s Rudolph!

Growing

Almost six months have pass since we brought home our baby girl. I will say these first six months have been much more difficult than either my husband or I expected, but it’s also been very rewarding. I love to see how she develops every passing day. At first all she did was cry and sleep. Suddenly, she is trying to sit and eat and talk to us. She is even developing her own personality. I hear the second half of her first year of life is even more exciting because that’s when she’ll really become her own little person. If the next six months are like the first six months, we are in for some adventure for these new parents.

Oh Brother

Tomorrow, my brother is coming back from college for winter break. Unfortunately, we have a full house and it was decided he is going to stay in my room. It seems that every time we have people over, my room becomes the guest room as well. Despite the inconvenience, I’m glad to see him again.
