私は、一人旅が好きです。一人で日本へ行く時、私は、大阪を選びます。一人でブラブラ歩き回るには、大阪は、本当に便利な所です。東京は、外国人が多過ぎます。大阪でこそ、日本を、じっくりと味わうことが出来ると思います。大阪では、道頓堀にある、大きなグリコの看板の見えるホテルに泊まりました。大阪で、一番、面白かったところは、海遊館でした。ここは、大きな水族館です。私は、大阪大好き人間です。

　私は日本の料理が好きです。日本料理は、勿論ですが、日本で食べる外国料理も大好きです。メキシコ料理、イタリア料理、中華料理、何でもおいしいです。調理のタイミング、又、料理の質も素晴らしいと思います。ソースの種類が豊富なことにも驚きました。卵オムレツも、トッピングソースが多くて、おいしかったです。私の故郷ハワイでは、普通、トマトケチャップだけかけます。日本の料理には、色々な知恵が詰まっていると思います。

I just arrived into Siem Reap, Cambodia. The air is heavy with humidity. The streets are bustling with tuk tuks, mopeds, and people. This is an amazing place & I’m so grateful to be here.

I went to Waikiki to watch Nagaoka fireworks show.
Though it was short, I enjoyed the show. It was nice.
The show was 20minutes only.

One of the first things you will notice when you first arrive at the Naha Airport, Okinawa are the orchids. All throughout the airport are planting after planting of orchids of all different varieties and colors. They are so healthy, vibrant, and welcoming. You can’t help but smile as you walk through the corridors and on the people movers. The are such a beautiful greeting to all the weary travelers.

Today in my town… Fujisawa Civic Center


In front of the Civic Center we saw men making mochi. As soon as I saw my neighbors, I grabbed my camera and started interviewing them.

市民センターで餅つきをしているのが見えました。
早速、カメラを手に、我が街のご近所さんを取材してきました。


There were several independent, elderly people meeting around the Civic Center, coordinating the party and making green Yomogi Mochi.

今日は、善行地区とその周辺に住む、一人暮らしのお年寄りの為の集いがあるそうです。
きれいな緑色の「よもぎ餅」をついて、パーティーの準備をしているのでした。

The flag was raised half-mast today, March 11th, in remembrance of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.

３月１１日は東日本大震災が発生した日です。今日は半旗を掲げています。

Most people think of Hawaii as paradise. It is true that the weather is usually close to perfect. However, Hawaii is a tropical island which means that it does get wet. In fact, sometimes it rains a lot. So, you might think that everyone carries umbrellas. But, it is inconvenient and troublesome to carry an umbrella all the time. Also, in Hawaii, everything usually dries quickly. Therefore, why bother taking an umbrella?
