メキシコオパールの可愛いルースを善行「メガネメイト」の田中さんにプレゼントしていただきました。私の髪の毛と同じオレンジ色。閃きました！私はハートが大好きなのでハートの雫のペンダントヘッドにすることにしました。アイデアを市川宝石店の市川さんに伝えて思い通りに仕上げていただきました。これも私のお守り。（美智子）

I received a cute loose Mexican opal as a gift from Tanaka-san of “Megane Mate.” It’s the same orange color as my hair. It gave me an idea! I love hearts, so I decided to make a heart-shaped drop pendant head. I shared my idea with Ichikawa-san of Ichikawa Jewelry Store, and he finished it just as I wanted. This is also my lucky charm. サムさんとエリーちゃんと藤沢駅の近くで待ち合わせて、サンパール広場のタリーズカフェでお茶の時間を持ちました。先日のアメリカ旅行のお土産をいただいて楽しいおしゃべりをしました。４枚目と５枚目の写真はちょうど６年前のものです。サムさんと修三さんと私とエリーちゃんの外歩きミーティング風景。２０２５年＆２０１９年１２月２６日。（美智子）

I met up with Sam-san and Elly-chan near Fujisawa Station and had tea at Tully’s Cafe in Sunpearl Square. I received souvenirs from Sam-san’s recent trip to America and had a lovely chat. The fourth and fifth photos are from exactly six years ago. They show Sam, Shuzo, me, and Elly meeting up for a walk outside. December26th. 2025&2019. (Michiko)

２０２２年から２０２５年まで私が作ったミニ刺繍。夫 修三が天国に旅立って悲しい時に作り始めました。日々何かを創造するのは「心のミニ刺繍」のようなものです。喜びが生まれます。（中村美智子　２０２５年１２月）　　

This is my embroidery wall. These are the mini embroideries I made from 2022 to 2025. I started making them when I was sad that my husband Shuzo had passed away and gone to heaven. Creating something is a “mini-embroidery of the heart” and it brings me joy. (Nakamura Michiko)

身体の目や心の目が曇った時、「天使の目は？」と思うことがあります。昨日は右目の網膜裂孔レーザー治療を受けました。ハワイで１８年前に初めてのレーザー治療。去年は白内障の手術を受けました。眼鏡なしでこの歳で目が良く見えるようになるのが嬉しいです。若い頃コンタクトレンズを使用したこともありますが、目にアレルギー症状が出た為に中止しました。ふいに天使がどこにやってくるかわからないものです。（美智子）

When the eyes of my body or my mind become clouded, I sometimes wonder, “What about the eyes of an angel?” Yesterday, I underwent laser treatment for a retinal tear in my right eye. I had my first laser treatment 18 years ago in Hawaii. Last year, I had cataract surgery. I’m so happy that at this age, I can see well without glasses. I also used contact lenses when I was younger, but stopped because I developed allergic reactions in my eyes. I never know where an angel might suddenly appear. (Michiko)
