アイスバーを２種類作りました。一つは、アルコール０の米糀甘酒アイス、もう一つは、牛乳カルピス。どちらもサッパリ味です。他にも色々試して作ってみます。（美智子）

I made two types of popsicle bars. One is made with rice koji amazake (sweet sake) ice cream, which is alcohol-free, and the other is made with Calpis milk. Both have a refreshing flavor. I’ll try making other varieties as well. (Michiko)

藤沢有隣堂のヤマハドラムレッスン１２回目。（３月７日スタート。３０分個人レッスン月２回。半年経ちました）。思いっきりドラムを叩いて暑気払いをしているような気分。（美智子）

This is my 12th Yamaha drum lesson at Fujisawa Yurindo. (It started on March 7th. Two 30-minute private lessons per month. Six months have passed.) I felt like I struck the drums with all my might to beat the hot summer. (Michiko)

It seems that precious metals with unchanging brilliance are soaring in price. On the other hand, the harmony of warm changes is also beautiful. This Mabe pearl was a souvenir from my brother-in-law (my husband’s second brother) when he was working overseas as a trading company employee. Later, my mother-in-law asked a metal engraver to design it. With age, it has acquired a unique silver elegance. I discovered the beautiful harmony of change. (Michiko)

私は運動をしませんが近所のワイキキ界隈は緩いウォーキングコースでした。足の甲にサンダルの日焼け跡がくっきりとつきました。藤沢に移り住んだあと数年かけて白い肌に戻りました。（写真は１２年前のワイキキ散歩　美智子）

I don’t exercise much, but the walking course around my neighborhood in Waikiki was easy. I got a clear tan line from my sandals on the top of my feet. After moving to Fujisawa, Japan, it took me a few years for my skin to go back to white. (The photo was taken 12 years ago while walking around Waikiki. Michiko)

子供の頃は短距離かけっこは早かったのですが長距離マラソンや激しい運動は苦手でした。６歳上の夫 修三さんはウォーキングが好きでした。私に「負荷をかけなくてはいけないよ」と言う主人に付いて私もあちらこちら歩きました。その時は足が痛くなることがあっても沢山の大切な思い出を残してくれました。今は、毎日毎日、朝も夜もおうち自主トレをしています。（美智子）

As a child, I was fast at short-distance running, but I wasn’t good at long-distance marathons or strenuous exercise. My husband, Shuzo, who is six years older than me, loved walking. He told me, “You need to put some strain on yourself,” so I followed him and walked here and there. Even though my legs sometimes hurt, it left me with many precious memories. Now, I train on my own at home every day, morning and night. (Michiko)

今日、まだ暗い午前４時半から５時頃まで、善行公民館から火災報知器のサイレン音と「一階で火災が起きました。避難してください」というアナウンスがこの地域一帯に鳴り響きました。空が明るくなり始めた５時前に、やっと警察官と係員がやってきました。「火災ではありませんでした。誤りでした。」と放送がありました。近隣住民も私も誰も外に出ませんでした。私は二度寝しました。（美智子）

Today, from 4:30 to 5:00 AM while it was still dark, the sound of a fire alarm siren and an announcement from Zengyo Community Center saying, “There is a fire on the first floor. Please evacuate,” echoed throughout the area. Just before 5:00 AM, as the sky began to lighten, police officers and staff finally arrived. “It was not a fire. It was a mistake,” the announcement said. Neither the neighbors nor I went outside. I went back to sleep. (Michiko)
