両変形性股関節症で手術入院のための準備を進めています。ケアマネさんとの打ち合わせ、必要な用具の選択、ヘルパーさんに頼むことなど、和やかに相談ができました。心配感が安心感に変わりました。主人が大きな手術をした時、震えるほどの緊張感で様々な交渉をしたことを思い出します。（美智子）

My care manager visited my home today. I’m currently making preparations for my upcoming hospitalization for surgery on both hip joints—a procedure to handle osteoarthritis. The meeting went very well; we had a pleasant discussion about selecting the necessary equipment and coordinating tasks for home-care assistants. My sense of worry has shifted into a feeling of reassurance. I recall how, when my husband underwent a major surgery, I had to navigate various negotiations while trembling with intense nervousness.
