シンプルなメロディーの中に印象的な美しさのあるビートルズのイエスタディ。歌のフレーズの間に沿うように、記憶に残る短いフレーズと和音を少しだけ付け足して、ヴァイオリンで弾いて遊んでみました。（ヴァイオリンを弾く冬の遊民　美智子） The Beatles’ “Yesterday” has a striking beauty within its simple melody. I added some memorable short phrases and chords to fit in between the phrases in the song, and played it on the violin for fun. (Michiko) ナコス湘南

ピーマンとレタスをサッと湯がいたあと、もろみ味噌とゴマで和えました。生野菜よりも温野菜のサラダが最近の好みです。（美智子） After quickly boiling the bell peppers and lettuce, I mixed them with Moromi-miso and sesame seeds. Lately, I’ve been preferring salads with cooked vegetables over raw ones. (Michiko) ナコス湘南

おにぎりを作りました。ごはん、ほうれん草、味付け油揚げ、ごぼう、ごま、すし酢。桜でんぶ、塩こんぶを少し添えました。卵焼きも上手に焼けました。おうちピクニックです。（美智子） I made rice balls with spinach, seasoned fried tofu, burdock, sesame, and sushi vinegar. 温かい野菜スープの出来上がり。鶏ひき肉、生姜、玉ねぎ、ニンジン、白菜、セロリです。酒粕、味噌、鰹節と昆布で味付け。夕食にはうどんを入れて煮込みます。（美智子） I made a warm vegetable soup with minced chicken, ginger, onion, carrot, napa cabbage, and celery. I seasoned it with sake lees, miso, bonito and kelp. For dinner, I’ll add udon noodles and simmer them. (Michiko) ナコス湘南

整形外科で足のリハビリ後、途中下車してゆめが丘ソラトスで昼食とお買い物。美味しい焼き魚は好みです。快適なショッピングモールは適度な運動にもなりました。（美智子） After receiving rehabilitation at an orthopedic clinic, I got off the train and had lunch and some shopping at Yumegaoka Soratos. 「杖」と書こうとしたら「枕」という字になった。２つの漢字は似ている。杖（つえ）も枕（まくら）も私を支えてくれる大切なお仕事をしている。心豊かに生きるため音楽も、無くてはならない杖であり枕である。（ヴァイオリンを弾く遊民　美智子） When I tried to write the kanji for “cane” (walking stick), I accidentally wrote “pillow” (pillow).
