Haiku Poem – Boat

one person boat
row across calm lake
sandy sun watches

灼熱の湖畔の舟や一人漕ぐ
しゃくねつの こはんの ふねや ひとりこぐ

A kayak is a type of boat that one person can ride. You have to use an oar in order to row the boat. In the desert, the sun is strong and sand is everywhere. So, it is quite hot to be on a lake in the desert rowing a boat.

カヤックは、一人で乗れる小舟の一種です。カヤックを漕ぐには、オールを使う必要があります。砂漠の中にある湖でカヤックを漕ぐと、かなり暑いです。砂漠の強い日差し、回り一面の砂のせいです。
