Haiku Poem – Boat

one person boat
row across calm lake
sandy sun watches

しゃくねつの こはんの ふねや ひとりこぐ

A kayak is a type of boat that one person can ride. You have to use an oar in order to row the boat. In the desert, the sun is strong and sand is everywhere. So, it is quite hot to be on a lake in the desert rowing a boat.
