After the election

Now that the mid-term election is over, I pay close attention to whose signs are left standing on the roadside. I am also interested in hearing speeches made by losers. Winners’ speeches are the pretty much the same, but the losers’ speeches vary . Some losers blame it on the national political trend, and others refuse to acknowledge the loss. I like it best when the candidates say " People of (name of each state) spoke their mind. I respect that." I think that is the spirit of democracy.

New Camera

素朴な疑問

今日仕事行ったら、病院の駐車場の出口でわざわざ車降りて駐車券と料金を払うおじさんを見た。なんで？？と思いよく見たら、左ハンドルだった。

ウチ乗ったことないから分からんのですが、日本で左ハンドルの車に乗ってるとこういう駐車場の出入り口とか、特に高速道路の出入り口とかどうしてるんですか？？
やっぱわざわざ降りるのですか？高速でも。
助手席に誰か乗せてたら問題ないけど。
う～ん。

一人の存在

去年まで病棟いたベテラン先輩看護師さんが、11月から再び復帰された。

看護も的をえているし、仕事も早いし、すごく尊敬している先輩。
特に去年は問題児とろみどりの指導をたくさんしてくださり、とっても感謝しています。

びっくりです。
この先輩がいるのといないのとでは、仕事のはかどりが全く違う。
「え？！いつの間に？！」という速さで仕事を確実に行っている。
そして全体にも気を配り、ナースコールにめっちゃ対応してくださる。
職場復帰まだ数日だけど、看護の質も上がっている気がする。
すごい。。。

一気に冷える

ガンッと気温が下がったこと。

ホンマに一気に寒くなった。
芯にくる寒さ、昨日までと全然違う。
すごい変わりよう。
秋を一掃し、冬を感じさせる空気です。
