Using Japanese on a Mac

Using Japanese on a Mac

Macintosh OS X comes with support for different languages built-in. To use these languages, go to System Preferences, click on the International icon.
Click on the Input Menu tab and click the checkboxes next to the languages you want to use. For Japanese, check the box next to Kotoeri.

Also, check the box next to Show input menu in menu bar.
An icon with an American flag should appear in the upper right section of the menu bar. Click on this icon to change the language that you type in.
To type in Japanese, select the input method (e.g. Hiragana) and type the Romaji. A window should pop up that displays the text you typed in hiragana. If you want kanji, press the space bar and the kanji should appear. If that is not the kanji you want, press the space bar again and you will be presented with a list of possible kanji to choose from. Select the one you want and hit Return.

指摘

今日は準夜勤。脳外チームは年上の同期と私。私がリーダーを務めました。

「この人とこの人、呼吸状態かなりリスクあるよ。」と申し送られたもので緊張して、めっちゃ集中的に観察してた。でもその気持ちが私のいけない癖を著しく出させました。

周りの様子（全体の動き、他チームの様子など…）が見えなくなる、全体の業務の流れに自分の動きを乗せられなくなる。自分でもなんとなく分かっているのに、ついつい自分の仕事のみを夢中になって動いてしまう。

…余裕がないんだと思う。頭も心も。でも結局、そういう「流れから浮いた自分」を著しく感じた時、仕事終わって自己嫌悪で落ち込みます。それだけ充実したイイ看護・観察ができた、というのならまだしも…、そういうわけではないし。 Continue reading →

Leaves are changing color

These photos were taken at the Omaha Botanical Garden called "Lauritzen Gardens", situated at the eastend of Omaha right by Missouri River.  Because the transcontinental railroad expanding from the eastern US chose to come to Omaha, crossing the river from Iowa, two large locomotives are exhibited permanently on the garden ground.

好きです、Bonnieさん。

先日、Bonnie Pinkのライブに行った。実はHeaven’s Kiｔｃhenからのファン。美肌で歌が上手くステキなBonnieさん。
最近行ったカラオケではBonnieさんの歌を歌いまくる。気持ち良い。もっとうまく歌いたいなー。

結局、最後の方はみんなナツメロを歌いだし、それにつられて安全地帯や、ちなきなおみを歌ってしまった。

チャーリーとチョコレート工場

「おもしろいよ！」と聞いたので、レンタルしてきました。

しかし！
期待しすぎた…かも汗
「あれ？もう終わっちゃった？？」と思わんばかりに、もう一ひねりあるかと思ってワクワクして観てたら「ハッピーエンド」で終わっちゃった。

でもそれを抜きにしたら、たしかにおもしろかったです！
主人公の男の子がすごくイイ味出してて、めちゃかわいかった

電子危機

最悪だ。。。

広島の家に帰ってきて、パソコンを起動させるが、どうも不安定だ。そのままフリーズ。強制終了したら、「終了しています」の画面でまたフリーズ。結局主電源を押して消した。そして、もう一度起動させようとするが、最初の画面からログインの画面へ切り替わってくれない。うわぁ。もう、やめてください。。

さらに、携帯を代えたのに、その携帯が壊れていて修理にだす始末。そして今は携帯会社からレンタルの携帯を使っているが、一昔前の携帯ですごく使いづらい・・・。もう、やめてください。。

さらに、鍋を食べようということになってみんなで家に集まったのはいいけど、電気鍋のコンセントが見つからない！！どこを探しても見つからない。前に使ったのは４月。もうどこにいたのか覚えていない。。結局、近所の百貨店で土鍋を購入して、済ませました。けど。。。もう、やめてください。
