2月に、ついに眼科医からお叱りを受けて、３月に白内障の手術を受けることになりました。いやだいやだと言って手術を先延ばしにしていました。どんな風に見えるようになるか、今は楽しみになっています。（２０２４年３月）

この写真は２５年前のドルチェと私。ホノルルでドッグショーに出場していました。アメリカンケネルクラブのショーで３位入賞したこともあります。（１９９９年３月）

Finally, I decided to undergo to cataract surgery in March. I am now looking forward to seeing how my eyesight will improve. (March 2024)

私達夫婦ともに一番寒い２月生まれです。お供えのお花をたくさん飾りました。霊園から西の方には青空に雪の富士山。みんなでパーティー！

Both of us were born in February. Happy birthday to Shuzo and me! So I offered many flowers to our grave. The snow-capped Mt. Fuji to the west from the grave. Let’s have a party!

雪が降りましたがもう溶けてしまいました。最近の天気は変です。凍えそうに寒い週もあれば、次の週は夏のようになります。

It’s snowed here. But it has melted already. The weather here has been strange. On week freezing the next week it’s like summer

時々、友人から「あら、新しいメガネ？」と言われます。３５年前、１５年前、５年前などの古いフレームです。壊れないものは流行を気にしないで、レンズをサングラスに替えたり、楽譜用の中間距離レンズに替えたりして使っています。右上はアレルギーが出た時に医師に勧められたゴーグルメガネです。

Sometimes my friends say, “Oh, are these new glasses?” No, actually these are old glasses frames. 35 years ago, 15 years ago, 5 years ago, etc. As long as it doesn’t break, I don’t care about trends. So, I changed lenses, changed to sunglasses or intermediate distance lenses for music scores. On the top right are goggles. My doctor recommended it to me when I developed an allergy.

I took Miyanaga-san to Baba-san’s house, a Japanese antique store called Semimaru for the first time. We had a great time chatting and laughing.
