ヘアサロンに行った後は丁度ランチの時間になりました。さいか屋８階のイタリアンレストランで大きなマルゲリータピザを完食。この店の薄い生地のピザが好きです。（美智子）

After going to the hair salon, it was time for lunch. I ate a big Margherita pizza at the Italian restaurant on the 8th floor of Saikaya. I like the thin crust pizza here. (Michiko)

この写真は１９９６年にナコスのオフィスで撮ったものです。ドルチェと仲良しさんのマフィンとクッキー。ブリジッタは同じビル内でお隣同士の事務所でした。会社オーナーはペットを自分の事務所に連れて来ても良かったのです。（美智子）

Good friends in Honolulu. This photo was taken in 1996 at the NACOS office. Dolce and his good friends Muffin and Cookie. Bridgette and I were in the same building, next door to each other. Company owners were allowed to bring pets to our offices. (Michiko)

この秋、湘南台駅地下道広場で初めてのストリート演奏を４回経験しました。（ヴァイオリン２回、ピアノ２回）。毎回そこに居合わせた見知らぬ人に私のデジカメでの撮影をお願いしました。10/16, 11/6, 11/20, 12/4（ヴァイオリンを弾く遊民　美智子）

This fall, I performed for the first time at the Shonandai Station Underground Passage Plaza (twice on violin and twice on piano). Each time, I asked the people there to take photos with my digital camera. (Michiko)

ハワイでのクリスマスの写真。ドルチェと私です。

お正月のような秋の始まりのような、何と何と穏やかで暖かい12月の始まりの週なんでしょう。初秋に予定した湘南台駅地下道での最後の演奏、クリスマスには少し早いですが、明日はサンタの帽子を被ってベートーベン月光とバッハのピアノを弾いて遊んできます。バッハのこの曲のヴァイオリン旋律は「アヴェマリア」。頭の中ではヴァイオリンとピアノの旋律が鳴っています。（美智子）

残すところあとひと月になりました。明るい気持ちで過ごしたこの一年。何と言ってもためらっていた白内障手術を3月に受けたこと。経過は良好でよく見えるようになりました。夏は酷暑なりに内なる安らぎと楽しみを、秋には演奏と出会いの場を、冬の備えも進み、サンタクロースも出発しました。私なりの小さな発明と出会いの時々の喜びを続けます。眼前の風景は近付いたり遠退いたりしながら……（美智子）

There is only one month left. This past year has been a bright one for me. Above all, I underwent cataract surgery in March, which I had hesitated to do. It went well and I can now see well. Despite the extreme heat this summer, I have found inner peace and joy, and in the fall I have had a place to perform and meet people. Preparations for winter are underway, and Santa Claus has departed. I will continue to enjoy my own little inventions and encounters. The scenery before my eyes moves closer and further away. 善行で「NPO かぐや」を運営する藤田さんとそのお仲間達。ご近所さんです。「かぐや」の皆さんが心を込めて作った素敵なクリスマス飾りを販売しています。おしゃべりをして写真を撮って、それからお墓参りに向かいました。霊園では冠雪の富士山がご挨拶。（美智子）

Fujita-san operates the “NPO Kaguya” in my neighborhood. They are selling Christmas decorations that the Kaguya members have made with love. We chatted and took a photo. And then I visited the grave. At the cemetery, I was greeted by the snow-capped Mt. Fuji. (Michiko)

蝉丸さんにお花を頂いた後、馬場さんが我が家へ来てお茶の時間。クリスマス飾りを見てもらいました。ジリオラ・チンクエッティのNon ho l’eta（夢見る想い）を歌っている私です。新しいお遊び、来年はカラオケコンテストに出る計画中。（美智子）

After receiving flowers from Semimaru-san’s garden, Baba-san came to my home for tea. I showed her my Christmas decorations. I’m singing Non ho l’eta (Dreaming Thoughts) by Gigliola Cinquetti. My new hobby is planning to enter a karaoke contest next year. (Michiko)
