I go to Ishikawa Clinic to get my health care. I go there every month to get my prescription filled. The photo shows Dr. Ishikawa-san and nurse Midori-san, and I’m the patient pretending to be bossy on the doctor’s chair. (Michiko)

It’s cold in the mornings and evenings, but the sky is clear and blue this morning. It’s a warm room with music and leaves. The stone is the musical notes I drew, the opening part of Bach’s Solo Violin Sonata No. 1. (Michiko)

おはようございます。台所の花瓶に挿している長い葉っぱの植物も元気にしています。２ヶ月前に善行の「和のアンティークの店　蝉丸」さんのお庭からもらってきた植物。（美智子）

Good morning! The long-leafed plant in the vase in my kitchen is doing well. I got it from the garden of “Semimaru, a Japanese antique shop” in Zengyo two months ago. (Michiko)

「鬼は外、福は内」。今日は節分。私は節分に恵方巻を食べる習慣がありません。あのような太くて長い太巻き寿司をどうやって口に入れるのでしょうか。その代わりといってはなんですが、7ページの楽譜をテープで長く繋げて練習しています。楽譜めくりが簡単、音楽の全体像もつかめます。これはピアノ譜です。（ヴァイオリン弾きのピアノを弾く遊民　美智子）

Demons out! Fortune in! Today is Setsubun. I don’t have the custom of eating Ehomaki (Fortune Sushi Roll) on Setsubun. How do you fit such a long, thick sushi roll into your mouth? As a replacement, I’ve been practicing with a long sheet of music that’s seven pages long, connected by tape. It’s easy to turn the pages and I can get the whole picture of the music. This is a piano score. (Violinist playing the Piano, Michiko)

アイビーの葉っぱが上向きに伸びています。可愛いので刺繍しました。

The ivy leaves are growing upwards. I embroidered it because it’s so cute.

暖かく明るい日差しのお墓参り。日差しは眩しいですが気温は10度前後。蛙さんは10度以下にならないと冬眠しないそうです。居心地の良いどこかで冬眠中。ドルチェの写真は、ハワイで子犬の部のコンテストに出場して三等賞をもらった時に撮ったものです。（美智子）

I visited the grave in warm and bright sunlight. The sunlight was dazzling, but the temperature was around 50F degrees. Frogs don’t hibernate unless the temperature drops below 50F degrees. They’re hibernating somewhere cozy. The photo of Dolce was taken when he entered a puppy contest in Hawaii and won third place. (Michiko)

何度か投稿しましたが、私はカラオケ屋さんで歌ったことがありません。今年新しい挑戦の一つはカラオケ。いきなりカラオケコンテストに出たいと思っていますが、実は好きな曲を探しているところで、まだ練習段階ではありません。YouTubeで薬師丸ひろ子さんの「Wの悲劇」を歌ってみました。私に似合う歌は何かな。。。（美智子）

I’ve never sang at a karaoke studio. One of my new challenges this year is karaoke. I want to enter a karaoke contest, but I’m actually looking for a song I like. I’m not at the practice stage yet. I tried to sing “W no Higeki” by Hiroko Yakushimaru on YouTube. I wonder what song suits me… (Michiko)

週に一度、股関節のリハビリ。帰りに相鉄沿線のゆめみが丘ソラトスでショッピングとお茶の時間。卵焼きや鮭をきれいに焼けるスリムなフライパンをみつけました。今日から私はお料理上手。（美智子）

I go to rehab once a week. On the way back, I stopped by Yumemigaoka Soratos on the Sotetsu line for some shopping and tea. I found a slim frying pan that can cook rolled egg (tamagoyaki in Japanese) and salmon beautifully. I am a good cook from today. (Michiko)

ハワイから善行に移り住んで以来、道の向かい側にあった梅と桜が咲くのを毎年楽しみにしていました。凛とした気品を感じます。この写真はちょうど一年前1月27日、梅の白い花が咲き始めて嬉しかった。去年の春に藤沢市が切り倒してしまいました。（美智子）
