Well, this story happened in August 2004. I was in San Diego attending a class for work with a couple of others guys stationed at Yokosuka with me. We had the weekend off so we all decided to go to the San Diego Zoo.

We were all having a good time walking around and taking pictures of the animals when we came upon the animal petting section of the zoo. There they had large animals you could ride. I’m a little afraid of large animals so I was a bit cautious.

I rode the elephant first and is wasn’t so bad. It was a really short and bumpy ride. After that I gained a bit of courage and decided to ride the camel. This was a big mistake. Continue reading →

日本人はいつも英語のパスワードを使いますか。どうして「あいうえお」を使いませんか。アメリカ人にアメリカの所で外国語のパスワードを使う事はおかしいように見えます。

日本人はいつもアルファベットのパスワード（暗証番号）を使います。どうして、ひらがな、「あいうえお」を使わないのでしょうか・・・　たとえば、アメリカ人が、アメリカで外国語のパスワードを使う事はおかしいように思えます。

昨晩のデートは楽しかったです。友人の恋人は美しくて、やさしいです。

安っぽい飲み屋で玉突きをしました。私はアルコールを飲みたくなかったです。しか し、飲み屋の条件は、それぞれお客さんはすくなくとも一本飲み物を買わなければならなかったので、私は三ドルの水を買わなければなりませんでした！

　バイトでパートのおばちゃんに理不尽な扱いをされ続け、
さすがのゆっきっきも心身共に疲れきっていた今日この頃。

　前は母ちゃんからの圧力を押され押し返しのケンカ三昧だった けど、
やっぱり親はいいな。虫の知らせがあって何となく気になっていたそうです。ホロリ。

　今日は大そうじ中、部屋に小さな自分だけの空間を作りました。
そこに、ハワイでの思いでの数々をコラージュにして飾りました。
ステキ☆これで疲れた心身を取り戻そっ♪

　セルフポートレイトのテープ発見！！やっぱり大事にしまってありました。
まあその場所をいつも忘れてしまうのだけれど。

　さっそくテープを聞くと、ウィン ターの疲れきった声が…(笑)
あの時暑い中、ウィンターはペプシ片手に頑張っておなおししてくれたなぁ…。懐かしい。
ウィンターがふざけて、「Yukiyo is…friendly girl!!」  と言ってるのを聞いて、
「あ、私ってフレンドリーな人間だったな～。」と
なんだかわかんないけど、ほっとしてしまいましたよ。
 
あぁ、ハワイ に帰りたい。

I love videogames!

 I didn’t start liking videogames until my senior year of college. It’s a good thing I started late, because otherwise I wouldn’t have read or studied when I was a child.  When my boyfriend visited me in college, he’d bring his Nintendo, and he, my friends, and I would cram ourselves in my tiny room and stay up late playing racing games.  Later, when I got my Playstation 2, my friends would race each other in my room while I napped. Then, when I got Final Fantasy and Harvest Moon games, I got really bad –sometimes I’d skip classes because I wanted to keep playing. Continue reading →
