Earthquakes


 
In Hawaii, there is volcanic activity and, along with that, comes earthquakes. It’s a good thing that there are no giant earthquakes with a magnitude of 8 like there are in Japan.

ハワイには火山活動があり、それに伴う地震があります。
日本のように、マグニチュード8 がないのがいいですね。

An ancient Japanese legend says that earthquakes are caused by the writhings of a giant catfish. Japanese people still associate earthquakes with the activity of catfish.
