I explained the intended use to Baba-san of “Semimaru, a Japanese antique shop.”in Zengyo, and he kindly made it for me. The purpose is to reduce the strain on the hip joint when standing up from a low, kneeling position. This is a Self-help device with the right size and strength to distribute my weight by placing the palms on this tool.
