Collaborative Haiku Poem – 樫の木

oak trees
stand tall, full of copper color leaves
wait for winter

銅色のそびえる樫の木冬を待つ
どういろの そびえる かしのき ふゆをまつ

oak trees
fall leaves till next spring
going its way

樫の木や秋の葉春までマイペース
かしのきや あきのは はるまで マイペース

Now, it is the peak of red and yellow leaves. Among trees, oaks, standing tall, are full of leaves ranging from light brown to dark red, which remain on trees until the next spring, unlike other trees. Oak trees seem commanding over everything else.

 今、この地域も紅葉黄葉の真っ盛り。その中でも高くそびえる樫の木は赤銅色の葉をびっしりつけ、その葉も他の木々と違い来年の春まで落葉せず、あたりを睥睨しています。
