Collaborative Haiku Poem − 白と緑

big snow
when was the last time?
Nine years ago

green, green
garden shows on TV
cabin fever!

大雪や指折り数え九年ぶり
おおゆきや　ゆびおりかぞえ　くねんぶり

目にしみる園芸チャネルの緑かな
めにしみる　えんげいチャネルのみどりかな

銀世界テレビの色で春爛漫
ぎんせかい　てれびのいろ で　はるらんまん

Snowfall has been decreasing year by year since 2010. Hopefully, this winter’s big snow can offset the decrease, but most likely not. Why do I remember that the last big snow was in 2010? In 2010, we started the life with Nube the husky who came with the rented house. Snow mountain I made with snow in the yard for the snow-loving Nube became smaller every year afterward. Regrettably, Nube passed away 2 years ago without witnessing this big snow.

A silvery world after snow is off course wonderful, but, seeing gardens and botanical yards with luscious green on TV is refreshing as if finding something forgotten. Is it cabin fever?

降雪量は九年前（2010年）以降、年々少なくなっていましたが、この冬はその減少をカバーして余りあるようです（そう感じるだけかもしれません）。なぜ、2010年と覚えているかというと、その年に借家付きのハスキー犬ヌービーと暮らし始めたからです。雪好きヌビー用にと庭に積み上げた雪山はその後年々小さくなるばかりで先が思いやられたことです。残念ながら、ヌービーは2年前、今年の大雪を見ることなく他界しました。

もちろん、大雪の後の銀世界も悪くありませんが、緑滴る庭園や植物園をテレビで見ると、忘れていたものを見つけたような新鮮な感じがします。
