Winter storms bring with them heavy snow falls. The white snow piles up layer upon layer. The clouds from such storms fill the sky and darken the ground beneath.

銀世界染まる地表や雲の影
ぎんせかい　そまる ちひょうや　くものかげ

冬の嵐は大雪を持ってきます。真っ白な雪がどんどん積もります。
嵐の雲が空にあふれています。この雲が下の地面を暗くします。
