Haiku Poem

January winter snow
cold quiet sounds all around
life sleeps for now

January is a cold month. The snow that falls shows the sign of winter. When the snow falls everything seems quiet. It’s as if the snow muffles all sounds. People stay indoors to keep warm and animals huddle together.
