Yesterday, I got up early and went to a park where I could appreciate the fall colors. This park is in an opposite direction from the town where I usually walk. As I was walking, a very peaceful and beautiful rural landscape spread out before me. Even though Yokohama had a lot of modern sections, you can find beautiful scenery like this just by changing the direction of your walk. You will be able to forget the bustle of the city and enjoy yourself for a while.
歩を変えば秋風香る田園風景
ほ を かえば あきかぜ かおる でんえん ふうけい
先日、早起きをして、紅葉が鑑賞できる公園に行きました。
その公園は街とは逆の方角にあります。
道の途中、とても穏やかで美しい田園風景が広がりました。
横浜は、近代的な街並みも多いですが、
歩く方向を変えるだけで、
このような景色に出会うことができます。
街の喧騒を忘れ、ホッとできる瞬間です。

この景色は横浜市の戸塚という地域です。
日本では、こうした景色は色々な場所で見ることができます。
私も詳しくはないのですが、これは稲を刈り終えた後の田んぼだと思います。
また、一枚目の写真の奥に見えるものは、稲藁（いねわら）と言うようです。
稲藁（いねわら）とは収穫した稲の籾(もみ)を取り去ったものだそうです。
主に飾りなどに使われることが多いようです。
