朝晩が涼しくなってきました。
季節の変わり目は体調を崩す方が多く、重症の方も多いように感じます。
亡くなる方もいつもより多いです。
まるで冷たい風が命をさらって行くようです。

今日も、あらゆる手段を尽くしても、限界がきて、徐々に呼吸は減り、心拍も小さくなっていった患者さんがいました。
そんな時、声をかけたり手足をさすると、それに応えるように少し心拍が戻る気がしました。
そして命の火は吹き消されました。

病院から帰る時、冷たい風が吹いていました。
せめて優しく天国に運んでくれたらと願いました。

It’s gotten to be quite cool at night and in the mornings. This change in seasons takes a toll on the health of many, and there are also many serious illnesses. There are also more deaths than usual. It’s as if the cool air is brushing away life.

Today, after doing everything we could for one patient, we ran out of options. His breath gradually faded, and his heartbeats grew faint. I called out to him and tapped his hand, and his heartbeat seemed to return as if in response. But then, his last flicker of life vanished.

There was a cool wind blowing as I returned from the hospital. I hoped that it would carry the recently departed mercifully to heaven.
