にわか雨青空来いと願い待つ

にわか あめ　あおぞら こい と　ねがい まつ

私の住んでいるところは、まわりに山が多く、天気が変わりやすいです。
今日も出かけ先でにわか雨に会いました。
こういう時は焦らずに待つのが一番です。
空を見上げると、向こうに晴れ間が見えます。
風向きからして雲は去り、晴れ間がのぞくはずです。
雲が去るのを待つのが本当ですが、青空が向かってくるのを待つようでした。

The region I live in is mountainous and so the weather can change very quickly. As it happens, I ran into some showers today while I was out. The best thing to do at such a time is to calmly wait it out.

I looked up at the sky and saw a clear bit in the distance. The clouds started to dissipate over where the wind was blowing, and I thought the clear spot would open up. Although what I was really doing was waiting for clouds to go, it felt like I was waiting for clear skies to come to me.
