When I was recently in the hospital I had to stay in Intensive Care for 3 days. The reason why, is because I was given a fairly strong medicine in order to remove my blood clot and in the unlikely event that I had internal bleeding I needed to be in Intensive Care. When I was in Intensive Care, I noticed that all of the nurses would come and visit and wouldn’t check anything. They only came to talk! I didn’t think much of it until I took a walk in the early evening. The Intensive Care floor is shaped like a big “U” and when I was taking my walk I noticed that all of the other rooms were dark and all of the doors were opened! Another kind of scary thing that I noticed was that everybody was sleeping! When I asked the nurse about it she told me that of all the patients I was the only one that was conscious! Everybody else was unconscious which is why all of the nurses came to talk to me. They wanted somebody to talk to! During the day some were somewhat conscious but because of their medication they didn’t really understand where they were. In a way, it was kind of like a scary movie!
