A couple of weeks ago I encountered a serious problem. First, I had to take someone to the emergency room at the hospital. Of course, like everywhere in Hawaii, the roads and driveways around and at the hospital were terrible. There was random construction and inexplicable one way detours and my car got stuck and needed a tow truck. Later, I tried to drive home, but had a tire blow one exit before my turn off. That required another tow truck and meant I didn’t get home until four in the morning. At least I was able to do something good for someone in the process. I’m just glad it didn’t happen on the way to NACOS because Michiko would have been upset at me for missing class!
