 みなおした トースター オーブン の いりょく

　１２月初旬から台所の改造中。台所の位置、広さは変えずに、３０年以上経つキャビネットやオーブンなどの機器類を新しくするだけであれば、２、３週間で終了と思いきや、事はそう単純には運ばないことがわかりました。

　古いキャビネットを空にする段階では、出てくる物の量に驚嘆。台所の隣の部屋に置いたテーブルの上と下になんとか移し終えました。機器類を新しくするということは、電気の配線も新しくすることであり、電気工事屋さんに頼まねばなりません。古いキャビネットを降ろした後、電気工事にかかり、それが済んで新キャビネットの取り付けと、結局、新旧交代に２週間かかりました。 Continue reading →

両親は全部結婚式の費用を支払いましたので、ささやかな結婚式をしました。いいですね。お母さんは花に沢山お金を使いたくなかったので、花束を作りました。お母さんの花屋の友人は結婚式に来たら、花束がおそろしいと思いましたので、彼は花束を直しました。やさしいですね！：D

My parents had a very frugal wedding, because they wanted to pay for everything themselves, which I think is very admirable.  My mom didn’t want to spend very much money on flowers, so she made her own bouquet.  When one of her friends arrived at her wedding, he was horrified at her bouquet (he was a florist), and insisted on redoing it himself!  How sweet!  :D</ Continue reading →

ついに、「Firefly」テレビ番組の「Serenity」と言う映画を見ました。ほとんど好きでした。。。しかし、終わりが嫌いでした。どうしてFireflyのようないいショーの映画は一つだけしかなくて、Underworldのようなひどい映画は二つありますか。

I finally watched Serenity, which is the movie they made from Firefly.  I liked it all except at the end.  Boo at the end!  Why do good shows like Firefly only get one movie, and terrible shows like Underworld get two?

It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that you sometimes barely even feel the time passing by. It’s Monday, and then, all of a sudden, it’s Monday again. With school, Elisa’s ballet, Garrett’s cubscouts, and my work and extra tutoring, we sometimes seem to be barrelling ahead at full speed, with no time for enjoyment or reflection.
I read somewhere a quote that rang true with me: Americans often mistake activity for happiness. That is, as long as they’re busy and moving, they figure, they must be happy. Being still is equated, in American culture, to being lazy.
However, anyone who has ever just sat and watched the wind blow in the trees or got down on their hands and knees to observe a bug with their kids, or meditated quietly, knows that these still, simple pasttimes can truly be a source of joy–taking that time to reflect has an amazing, grounding effect. More can be done in our personal progression in just a few minutes of meditation, I think, than in a whole week of rushing here and there.

早速・・・　先日，友達３人と北海道に旅行に行った｡

痛風になるんじゃないかと思うほど，
海鮮，ジンギスカン，ラーメン，銘菓を食べた｡
衣類が破れるんじゃないかと思うほど転びながら，
パウダースノウの上でスノーボードをした。
目をみはるほどの美しい函館の夜景，
小樽のガラス細工，札幌のチョコレートファクトリーを見た｡

そして、珍しく私は健康だった。

 Hello!!!  I am very happy since my favorite fighter manny pacman pacquiao won his fight with morales .  I love boxing.  I hope to learn to do it myself but right now i’m just trying to get on my feet sometimes i really miss hawaii and being in the marines, but i sure once i finally get hired to a job i won’t miss them too much since i’ll have other things to think about.  I hope that the weather in hawaii is great it’s kinda cold here in north florida.  Sorry that i’m not good at blog but i’m not a good talker either.  So i hope everyone has a great day.  I’ll write later bye

P.S. did anyone know that goodbye is short for god bless you i read it in a book about languages
