Every November and December in Hawaii, we are invited to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. In this photo, from left, are Chad and Joyce, Michiko, Shuzo, and Dolce. Chad, Joyce, and Joyce’s mother, Dianna, prepared delicious meals for us. These are precious memories that will warm our hearts forever. (Michiko)

お墓参りには他にも良いことが二つあります。まず、ミニのお花飾りを毎回作ることはささやかな楽しみです。そして、お墓参りでの散策は私にとって無理なく継続できる楽しい運動になっています。（美智子）

The joys of visiting the grave. There are two other good things about visiting the grave. First, making a mini flower decoration every time is a small pleasure. Second, walking around the grave while visiting the grave is a fun exercise that I can continue without any difficulty. (Michiko)

藤沢有隣堂のヤマハドラムレッスン１８回目。だんだんリズムの掛け合いが難しくなっていきます。ドラムスティックの動きを改善する方法を習いました。ドラムの中の空気を抜くような積りで叩くと良い音になります。手首を柔らかくばち先をしっかり。（美智子）

This is my 18th Yamaha drum lesson at Fujisawa Yurindo. The rhythmic exchanges become more and more difficult. I learned how to improve my drumstick movement. So I could get a good sound if I hit the drum as if I’m letting the air out. Keep my wrists soft and the tips of the drumsticks firm. (Michiko)

昼食にスープを作りました。さつまいも、かぼちゃ、人参、しょうが、エビ。具材から良い味が出て調味料は使いませんでした。姫柚子が可愛くて買いました。３つ１００円。（美智子）

I made soup for lunch. It was made with sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, ginger, and shrimp. The ingredients had a great flavor, so I didn’t need any seasonings. I bought some Hime Yuzu because they were so cute. Three for 100 yen. (Michiko)
