第１１回藤沢宿まつりを見ました。
I met up with Minagawa-san and Iwaya-san at Shirahata-jinja Shrine, and we saw the 11th Fujisawa-juku Festival.

室内は慶子さんの趣味のインテリア、
私はくつろいでお遊び気分でした。
玄関には靖正さん作の象の彫刻。
I had afternoon tea and relaxed time at Fujita-san’s home.

中島美貴代さんと私は二月生まれ。
北鎌倉で少し遅れた誕生祝いをしました。
美貴代さんは鎌倉で茶道を教えています。
Nakajima-san and I celebrated our birthdays at a Japanese restaurant. We had an enjoyable time.

運転免許証を更新しました。
藤沢北警察署の赤い梅の花が可愛い。
I renewed my driver’s license and picked it up. The plum tree was pretty.
Shonandai, Fujisawa-city

新しい免許証を持っているところを、警察署の方に写真を撮ってもらいました。「個人情報が見えないようにしてくださいね！」と優しくご忠告を受けて、左手に握りしめています。

サムさんと藤沢駅の前で待ち合わせて、
コーヒーを飲みながら話しました。
I met up Sam-san near Fujisawa station and we had a good conversation while drinking coffee.

屋外では穏やかで上品な梅の姿と香り、
部屋には、元気になる小さなものたち。

I’m attracted to the appearance and scent of plum tree outdoors. In my room, these small things cheer me up. Photo of me & Dolce, it was taken in Honolulu, I was in my mid 40’s.

鎌倉市川喜多映画記念館で、
「恋におちたシェイクスピア」を見ました。
庭園の梅の木はとても風情がありました。
I saw a movie called “Shakespeare in Love” at Kamakura City Kawakita Film Museum. The plum tree in the garden was very tasteful.

梅の花も善行市民センターの旗も、
冬の風にしっかりと揺れています。
The Japanese plum(Ume) blossoms are swaying firmly, and the flags at Zengyo community center are flapping.

風は冷たいですが、春の気配を感じます。
向かいの空き地の梅の花は青空に咲き誇り、
部屋の小さな葉っぱも伸びています。
Although the wind is cold, I feel the sighs of spring. The plum blossoms are in full bloom against the blue sky. The small greenery in my room is also growing steadily.

向かいの空き地にある一本の梅の木です。
寒風の老木に白い花が咲き始めました。
凛とした気品を感じます。
Japanese white plums (Ume) are starting to bloom on the cold wind tree. I feel dignified elegance.
