藤沢さいか屋の服売り場へ行きました。
先に年配女性のお客さんがいました。

年配女性は私の顔をまじまじと見て、
「あなたの顔を占ってあげる。いい輪郭をしてるわね。いい骨格ね。横向いて。鼻もいい。肌もきれいね」と言いました。

私は可笑しくなって、
「どうしてそう思いますか？占い師さんですか？」
と言いました。

彼女は、
「占い師じゃないの。わかるの。私は鉄の椅子とかドアとか何でも鉄の製品を作っている会社の女社長よ。あなたは人を元気に幸せにする顔です。こういう人がいるのね！」とおっしゃいました。

見ず知らずの鉄の会社の社長さんと、
ちょっとした愉快なおしゃべりでした。

善行の向かいの梅の木も元気です。

I went to a clothing store. Here is a 3-minute conversation between an unknown elderly person who is a customer and me. She spoke to me. “You have a nice facial contour, nose is nice and skin is beautiful, too. Your face makes people cheerful and happy”. I asked, “Why do you think so?”. She said, “I just thought so. I am a female president of the company that makes iron products, anything like chairs or doors”. We had a pleasant conversation.

サムさんと藤沢駅の近くで待ち合わせて、
境川沿いの道や市民会館の横の公園を、
話しながら歩きました。
I met Sam-san and Elly-chan near Fujisawa station. We took a walk along the Sakai River and the park next to the Fujisawa civic hall while talking.

サムさんと藤沢駅の近くで待ち合わせて、
タリーズコーヒーで色々な話をしました。
サムさんが長い顎鬚を切っていてびっくり！
エリーちゃんはずっと笑顔でした：）
I met Sam-san near Fujisawa station and we talked about many things at Tully’s coffee. I was surprised that Sam-san cut his long hair, I mean beard. Cool! Elly-chan was smiling all the time:)

鎌倉市川喜多映画記念館で、
「ピアノ・レッスン」を見ました。
このミニシアターの雰囲気は快適です。
I saw a movie called “The Piano” at Kamakura City Kawakita Film Museum. I like the comfortable seat and atmosphere of this mini theater.

白旗神社で優美に咲く枝垂れ桜です。
２０年ぶりに満開だそうです。
I went to Shirahata-jinja Shrine to see a weeping Japanese cherry-tree. It’s very graceful. I heard that this tree is full bloom for the first time in 20 years.

向かいの空き地の桜です。
梅の花に続き桜の花が咲きました。
After the plum blossoms, the cherry blossoms have bloomed in an open ground across the street.
Zengyo, Fujisawa-city

梅の花が咲き始めた二月の暖かい日の
お誕生日に遺骨を納骨しました。
優しいお墓で安らかに眠っています。
藤沢市中心部にほど近い明るい霊園。

深い悲しみの道を通ったあと、
どうやって楽しくしていくか考えました。
公園に遊びに行くようなお墓参り。

My most beloved ones, Shuzo and Dolce sleep in peace here, and the spirit is with me. I went through deep sorrow. Now, I enjoy visiting this grave garden, like going to the park. My name is still red because I’m still in this world.

陽射しが明るくなってきました。
木々にも道にも公園にもお墓にも
春の花々が咲き始めています。
出かけるのが楽しみです。

The sunlight is getting brighter. Spring flowers are starting to bloom here and there in trees, roads, parks and grave garden. I’m looking forward to going out. (These photos were taken when I was in my late 40’s. When I went for the orchestra job in Kona, Hawaii.)

サムさんは半分夏の服装、私は半分冬です。
さいか屋広場のベンチで話しました。
I met up Sam-san near Fujisawa station. Sam-san is half summer outfit, and my clothes are half winter. We had a good conversation while drinking Tully’s coffee.

月に一度、処方箋をもらいに行きます。
今日は体重が１キロも増えていました。
Dr石川「写真を撮られたのは初めてだなぁ～」
I go to see Dr. Ishikawa once a month to get prescription medicines. He checks my blood pressure and weight. Oh, I gained 1kg!
