3月に両目の白内障手術を受けました。視力回復。手術をしてからそれまでは見えていなかったことを実感。眼内レンズは中間距離を入れて楽譜もパソコンもよく見えます。このメガネフレームは以前使っていたものでツルは取りました。駅などで少し離れた文字をちょっと確認する為のレンズを作りました。もうメガネをかけたくありません。今は目も鼻も耳も喜んでいます。プラス、目の周りの筋肉を使うようになって眼筋トレのせいか、目が少しずつ大きくなって、シワが減ってきたような、そんな気がする。。。（美智子）

I had cataract surgery on both eyes in March. My eyesight has been restored. Since the surgery, I’ve realized that I couldn’t see things before. I have an intermediate-distance intraocular lens, so I can see music scores and computers clearly. This is my old eyeglass frame. I’ve had the temples removed. I got lenses made so that I can quickly see letters at a distance, such as at the station. I don’t want to wear glasses anymore. My eyes, nose, and ears are all happy now. Plus, I’ve started using the muscles around my eyes, so maybe it’s because of the eye muscle training, but I feel like my eyes are getting bigger little by little, and the wrinkles are decreasing… (Michiko)

It’s a cemetery bathed in warm sunlight. Flower decorations, my violin and scarf with gold leaves. Various combinations that I like are floating in the air. (Michiko)

緑がまだ残り、黄色に染まった木々もあり、枯れ葉の落ち葉も舞います。暑かった夏を過ぎ、まるで音楽の流れが生き生きとなるように、季節が舞っていきます。来週は鎌倉に映画「枯れ葉」を観に行きます。（美智子）

Some trees are still green, turning yellow, and the dead leaves are falling. After the hot summer, the seasons are dancing like music coming to life. Next week, I will go to Kamakura to see the movie “Fallen Leaves.” (Michiko)

毎週、整形外科でリハビリ。変形性股関節症が進行しないようにリハビリと自主トレを頑張っています。久しぶりに撮影。理学療法士さんは写真に顔を出して良いけれど恥ずかしいとのことです。リハビリ中の理学療法士さんとのおしゃべりも楽しい。色々なことを話します。（美智子）

Just a small scenery of rehabilitation for osteoarthritis of the hip joint at an orthopedic clinic. I go to rehab once a week in order to prevent the symptoms from progressing. I enjoy chatting with my physical therapist during my rehabilitation as well. We talk about many things. (Michiko)

私はカラオケルームをヴァイオリン練習で利用したことがありますが、カラオケを歌ったことがありません。今、お家でパソコンのYouTubeを見ながら「おうちカラオケ」をしています。イタリアの歌手ジリオラ チンクエッティのNon ho l’eta（日本の題名は夢見る想い）。ほぼ歌えるようになりました。来年は初カラオケコンテストに出る計画です。（美智子）

I have used karaoke rooms to practice the violin, but I have never sung karaoke. Now I am doing “home karaoke” at home while watching YouTube on my computer. I can almost sing “Non ho l’eta” by Italian singer Gigliola Cinquetti. Next year I plan to enter my first karaoke contest. (Michiko)

急に寒くなり冬の気配が立ち始めました。今日は立冬だそうですね。寒い夜に静かに弾くピアノは楽しい。そうです！冬の演奏はピアノ。湘南台駅壁画前では、私の現在のスタイルであるヴァイオリンソロ演奏は、会場運営側が今の段階ではピアノ伴奏付きが条件とのことで一旦終了しましたが、冬はピアノ演奏して遊ぶことにしました。一人で譜めくりが楽なようにテープで長く繋ぎました。バッハのイギリス組曲第３番プレリュード。ベートーベンのピアノソナタ月光。日にちを調べて弾きに行きます。冬も楽しいことに挑戦して明るく過ごします。（ヴァイオリンを弾く遊民　美智子）

It’s suddenly gotten cold and the signs of winter are starting to appear. Today is the beginning of winter, apparently. It’s fun to play the piano quietly on a cold night. That’s right! Winter performances are piano. Violinist playing piano. I connected the pages with tape to make it long so that it’s easy to turn the pages by myself. Bach’s English Suite No. 3 Prelude. Beethoven’s Piano Sonata Moonlight. I try fun things and stay cheerful. (Michiko)

カガユウさんがヴァイオリン演奏を聴きにきてくれました。その後カフェで楽しいおしゃべり。秋田県でユウさんのおじ様が作っている「横手養蜂園」の蜂蜜、今年も一つ買いました。（美智子）

Yuu-san came to listen to my violin performance. Afterwards, we had a nice chat at a cafe. I bought honey from Yokote Bee Farm, which is made by Yuu-san’s uncle in Akita Prefecture, this year as well. (Michiko)

壁画前で１０月16日に初めて演奏。そこに居合わせた方々も喜んでくださいました。今日は2回目。今日の現場ボランティア係、「ルールはピアノ演奏か楽器演奏はバンドとかのグルーブです」。私、「壁画を描いた廣田さんのお勧めで演奏に来ました。ルールが違うと廣田さんが言えば終了します。話し合ってください。それで、今日は？」。係の人「弾いてください」。演奏しました。（美智子）
