Our home town is called Kawanishi. Kawanishi is located in the southeast part of Hyogo prefecture. The city’s north side is somewhat mountainous, and part of this area has been designated as part of the Prefectural Inagawa Ravine Natural Park. Kawanishi is famous for its peaches, figs, charcoal, and chestnuts. Peaches produced only in Kawanishi can be picked one month earlier than the ordinary ones which are picked in July. Pollination is done by hand, using a stick with a cotton ball on the end. Kawanishi is famous for its mellow and fresh figs all over Japan, and we produce about 600 tons per year. Charcoal has been produced in the northern part of the city for 700 years. There were 40 families making charcoal during the peak period, but now only three families are keeping the tradition alive. The charcoal produced here is called “chrysanthemum charcoal,” because they look like a chrysanthemum flower, and they are quick to catch fire, burn long, and are hard to put out. Many varieties of chestnuts are cultivated in the middle and northern part of the city from late September to early October. There is an annual chestnut fair held here every October. という映画、以前日記に書いたこの作品をようやく福山のレンタル店で発見！

韓国の映画であるが、今はやりの「韓流」とはちがい、

ＢＧＭも最小限、派手なラブストーリーの展開もなく、

ただ単におばあちゃんと孫とのひと時の共棲の様子を描く。

はっきりいって泣けます。大人になって忘れかけた「おばあちゃん」の

姿を思い出すこと間違いなしの一作。ハリウッド映画もいいけど、

こんな映画もあるんだということを忘れてはならないと

痛感した。この映画、ぜひ見てみるべし！

debleも今は亡きおばあちゃんを思い出しました。

本日のカレーはルウの中で値段の高い（５皿文で２５０円）

Ｓ＆Ｂのやつを使用。初めて買うルウだったので少し不安だったが、

やはり値が張るだけあって食べてみるとうまい！

奥深い味わいはヘタなカレー屋よりはうまいはず！

今度からこのルウを使おっと♪

今晩はかぼちゃの煮つけを作る。

材料はかぼちゃ、玉ねぎ、にんじん、ジャガイモ、

焼豚切れ端、冷凍ミートボール。

お袋の味ではなく、おっさんの味か。まあうまいぞ！

今西に向かってくる台風があるらしい。

台風10号であるが、気象庁のＨＰを見ていると、

「ナムセーウン」という名が付いている。

アメリカとかでよく聞く台風の愛称というか名前らしい。

どこからこんな名前付けてるんだろ。

ともかくこちらに来なければよいが。。

超久しぶりに見てみる。

■2004/07/24 (土)

先日のテレビ放映ではじめてみたハリポツ。

今日はその２作目をみるべく、レンタルをしてきた。

やはり映画だと、本の中だけでは書ききれない世界が

映像として描けるわけで。内容もまあおもしろかった。

魔法使いには小学生か中学生くらいのときにすごくあこがれて

白魔術の本とかを買ったこともあったなあ。（もちろん３日坊主で読破せず）

そのころのことをふと思い出させる作品であった。

さあこれで最新作「阿須カバン」を見に行けるぞ！

かねてから買おうと思っていた６４MBフラッシュメモリを購入。

この大きさでフロッピの60倍の容量が・・・！

今日は暑かった。。なので今年も水のみでシャワーを浴びようかと

思ったが、あまり汗をかいてなかったので、汗をかいてから浴びよう

ということで、夜にジョギング＆ウォーキングに出かけた。

あっという間に吹き出す汗。帰ってからの水シャワーは気持ちよすぎ！

暑い夏を乗り切る貧乏人の知恵となるか！？
