Searched

As you enter Bayfest your entering the military base and I had no idea that they were going to be randomly searching cars. Our car was that car that had to pull over and  get searched. It was acutally an intense situation and the Marines were very serious about their job. We had to step out of the car and open all the doors and a dog went through the car. Then the Marines went through and searched everything, of course there was nothing to find and we were able to pass through the gates, but the overall experience wasn’t fun and I wouldn’t want to have to do it again.

7月になった

7月…ということは、夏だ。　　もう？！
ちゃっちゃか  ちゃっちゃか  やってかないと、あっという間に夏が終わっちゃうよ！

今年の夏の目標の一つ。　　「ベタでも定番でも、夏らしいことをいっぱいする」

花火とか、浴衣着て祭り行くとか、海行くとか、ガンガンに音楽流して一晩中ドライブするとか (笑)　一人旅もしたいし、本も読みたいし、やりたいことが溢れてるから、ゆるゆるに過ごしてる暇はないはずなのだ！　今しかできないことを逃してしまっては、もったいないでな！

　 明日からウチがプレゼントした両親の1泊2日黒川温泉旅行なんやけど、やっぱし雨みたい…。 阿蘇山観光も入ってるのになぁ…。　さすが山陰育ち、雨男雨女。　雨の中、いかに楽しんでこれるかがポイントだで！ Continue reading →

Homerun Summer

Bayfest

Tonight we’re going to go to an event called Bayfest over in Kaneohe. It’s supposed to be like a carnival with rides and musical guests and at the end of every night they light off fire works to celebrate the 4th of July. I’ve never been to Bayfest before and I’m quite excited to check it out.

焼肉屋

   仕事終わりに師長さんに連れられて、先輩、同期と焼肉屋さんに連れて行ってもらいました。　かなり楽しみで、大人気なく同期と、「ユッケ ♪  カルビ ♪  冷麺 ♪  キムチ ♪  牛タン ♪ 」 と  口ずさみながら  タクシーで GO….　　お値段お高めなお店へ。　　旨いです、師長さん、旨いです。　食べ物で感動できるって、なんて幸せなことなんやろう （感無量）　仕事終わりに こういう楽しみがあるっていいなぁ。

　オチ。。。

　寮でタクシー降りて、一歩踏み出そうとしたら、酔っ払いの足になってて バランス崩して すごい勢いで後ずさりしてしまい、走り出すタクシーに激突しかけた。 かなり驚いた…　が、一番驚いたのは タクシーの運ちゃんだった。　　今日は、給料日 祝　　めっちゃ嬉しい   ▽ Continue reading →

Fish

Yesterday we went to the pet store and got two Parrot Cichilds. These are little orange colored fish that look a little like Parrots. One is a boy named Kip and the other is a girl named Lafonda after the movie characters in Napaolean Dynamite.

きのう、私と妻はペットストアへ行って、熱帯魚を買いました。魚は、少しオレンジ色で、少しオウムに似ています。一匹はオスで、キップという名前です。もう一匹はメスで、ナポレオンダイナマイトの映画からラフォンダという名前を付けました。
