わがまま？

昨日の準夜勤にて。

夕食前から、「わし、携帯で家族に電話したいんよ、看護婦さん。」
と言っていた患者さんがいた。

脳外科は、麻痺あるし、1人で動いて転倒！のリスク大な患者さん多いので、携帯電話可能な場所に1人置き去りにしておくのはとっても危険。だけど、夕食の時間でばたばたしてるし、スタッフ3人やし…ということで、とりあえず、食後まで待ってと伝えた。

食事介助、片付けの多い中、最初はテレビ見ながらなかなかの美声で演歌を熱唱していたが、「まだか、連れて行ってくれ！　まだか！何分待たせるんだ。も ～！」とせかされ、ちょっと、 「o(￣ー￣；)　コノヤロー」と思いながら（←看護師も人間ですからね(汗)） 19時過ぎにやっと一段落。 Continue reading →

プリンタ壊れる。

写真を印刷しようと思ったら…出てきたのは真っ黄色の写真。
ヘッドクリーニングして、ノズル調整して…格闘すること２時間…
直らない。最近調子悪かったけどついに故障したか(-"-;)

Got the Job!

Yeah! I got the job. Unfortanetly, the restuarant is still under construction and will not open till sometime in mid March, but I am in. The restaurant is a steak house called Ruth Chris and is little bit more on the fine dining side. What that means is that I will be learning a lot more  about wines and how they pair with certains foods. I will also be learing a lot more about restaurant etiquette and how to make the guests feel like kings or queens while they are dining with us.

 
やりました！　就職が決まりました。

レストランはまだ建設中ですが、3月中旬にはオープンするでしょう。

頑固者のお茶目さ

面白い患者さん。

「口に塗るヤツ取って。」　と言われ、リップを渡す。
唇とがらせて塗る、塗る、塗る。
トイレ介助しようと思い、背を向けると、

「ぱっぱっぱっぱ。」

ん？

後ろ振り返ると、患者さんが唇鳴らしている。
どうしたんですか？と尋ねると、
超真剣な顔で、

「塗った感覚を実感している。」

へぇ～。（＾□＾；）

この前なぁ～。
エレベータに1人で乗ったんだがなぁ～。
10階に行きたいのに、一階一階いちいち止まるんだ。
何だこれは！このエレベータは壊れているんじゃないか！
けしからん！！どうなっとるんじゃぁぁぁ。

ほんとうは 書きたくないけれど、
日本では きょうも 人間のばらばら死体が見つかったそうです！
３日続いているのです、どうなっているのでしょう！？
日本人は あまり 外に発散しないので 恥ずかしがり屋のせいなのか、
もう少し 日頃から みんな 感情を外に 出したら良いと思いますよ。

Job Interview

    Tomorrow I have a job Interview with a new restaurant opening in Waikiki. I am very excited and hope that I get it. It will be a great opportunity for me to expand my restaurant skills and use my Japanese on a more day to day basis.
