私のヴァイオリンケースです。背負って歩きます。 ある時、見知らぬおじいさんが言いました。「背中の光ってるもの何？まぶしいなー」 ある時、見知らぬ年配の御婦人が言いました。「何が入ってるの？大正琴？ピアノ？」 「ヴァイオリンです」「珍しいね、この辺で見たことないわ」見知らぬ人と楽しい会話になります。 （上は軽いフランス製、下は頑丈なドイツ製） These are my violin cases. ７月のMY甘味会（Michiko&Yuko甘いものを楽しむ日）。Fプレイス労働会館２階でヴァイオリンを弾いてから、６階のカフェで皆川さんとお茶の時間を過ごしました。ビルの向こうに江ノ島がくっきり見えました。Minagawa-san and I ate delicious sweets after I practiced the violin. We had a good conversation.Fujisawa-honmachi, Fujisawa-city

大叔父が１９４８年ごろ趣味で作ったヴァイオリン。私の祖父の弟は植物学者でコケ博士でした。日本のリハビリにも貢献し叙勲を受けました。（叙勲の際の同日の新聞記事資料から抜粋）「日本リハビリの恩人。 昭和４０年ごろ理学療法士を養成するリハビリ学校は東京と小倉の二か所しかなく、必要性の認識さえ薄かったとき、植物の国際学会で外国へ出かけて見聞したことがきっかけになったという。」「リハビリの言葉を初めて聞いたのは昭和３７年、国際植物学会で渡英したとき。以来、欧米に出かけるたびにリハビリの言葉に出合った。米国で腰痛の老人がリハビリ施設に入院、回復する現場を目のあたりに見てショックを受けた。」「リハビリもコケも、あの頃は世に知られない日陰のような存在だった。 それなら光を当ててやろうとしただけですよ」My great-uncle made this little violin as a hobby in 1948. He was a botanist. Also he contributed to the rehabilitation of Japan and he received an award. （中村美智子）
