２０２２年５月８日の写真です。主人（中村修三）が大和市の「フェリエドゥ高座渋谷」の住宅型有料老人ホームでリハビリをしていた時です。この日、５階の大きな窓の側まで車椅子を押して行きました。遠くの山々、青い空と白い雲、長く続く緑の森や家々、新幹線の走る線路。一時間ほど車椅子に姿勢を正して静かに見ていました。嬉しかったことも苦しかったこともこれからの幸せも心に、遠くを見つめていたことでしょう。今、振り返って写真を見ると映画のワンシーンのようです。私も来週映画を観に行く予定です。（中村美智子） These photos were taken on May 8th, 2022. ホノルル美術館で座っているのは私です。赤いブラウスの背中に貝ボタンを付けました。いつでもどこでも、ちょっとした小さな楽しみを考えるのが好きです。（美智子） This is me sitting at the Honolulu Museum of Art. I added shell buttons to the back of the red blouse. I like to think of little fun things to do anytime and anywhere. (Michiko)

ホノルルのアラワイ運河の橋です。ヴァイオリンみたいで気に入っています。太陽が沈む前の時刻にこの道を散歩するのが好きでした。（美智子撮影） This is a bridge on the Ala Wai Canal in Honolulu. I like it because it looks like a violin. I loved walking here before the sun went down. (Photo by Michiko)
